At Last

Meeting Lexi Swan

Ladybug's POV

As I stood on the Eiffel Tower, I couldn't help, but to keep thinking about Adrien. He liked Chat Noir? That was...surprising to find out...if it was even true... It really seemed like it. Maybe I could ask him who he likes. Somehow.

"Good evening, M'lady," Chat Noir greeted. I turned around to see his bright green eyes staring back at me. He looked like he wanted to talk to me.

"You too, Chat Noir. What do you need to say?" I asked.

"Oh...uh... Do you think I'm hot?" he asked. That wasn't what he was gonna say. I knew there was something else. Then I realized what he asked. I blushed a deep red. My face was probably the same color as my mask.

"I, uh, yes... I mean, no! I mean, yes! I mean, maybe? Yes..." I replied.

"Which is it?" Chat asked.

"Yeah..." I answered. His face was redder than my suit at this point. "Wait. I have a question."

"Yeah?" he asked.

"This is kinda a weird question, but how old are you?" I asked.

"I'm 16," Chat replied. "What about you?"

"I'm 15," I answered. I couldn't think of what to say next. What do I say after telling him my age?

"That's good. I'm glad I'm not dating someone who's a lot younger or a lot older than me. That would be a little...awkward," Chat explained.

"Yeah, same goes for me," I admitted.

"Oh wait. Don't we need to patrol?" Chat asked.

"Oh! Right!" I replied. "You go left and I'll go right and we'll meet back here afterwards."

"Sounds good to me," Chat said. And with that, we split ways and began patrolling the city of Paris.

I didn't see anything unusual and it was almost time to meet back up. Then I realized I forgot to give Chat Noir a time. I hoped he'd still make it back to the Eiffel Tower on time or else I'd  have to find him and bring him there myself.

I swung to the top of the Eiffel Tower and decided to take a little walk. I saw Chat Noir jump out suddenly while I was walking. I screamed and fell backwards. He laughed and helped me up. I glared at him.

"That wasn't funny!" I complained. 

"Yeah, it was. You should've seen your face. It was priceless!" Chat said, chuckling. I glared at him again.

"Shut up," I said playfully. "Are you coming to my house again?" 

"Yeah," he replied. "If it's okay with you."

"Of course it's okay with me! Why do think I asked?" I asked.

"Oh..." Chat said. "Let's go!"

"Come on! You're gonna be late for school!" I heard Chat Noir say as he shook me awake. I sat up groggily and trudged put of bed. I really didn't want to go to school. I just wanted to stay home. But I knew I had to go to school... Then I remembered that we were getting a new student in our class today. I wanted to meet him or her.

I picked up my pace and got ready to go to school. Chat Noir then detransformed right in front of me to reveal... ADRIEN AGRESTE?! I nearly fainted. Adrien was Chat Noir. Chat Noir was Adrien. They were the same person. I was snapped out of my thoughts when Adrien waved his hand in front of my face.

"Earth to Marinette," he said. "We got to get to school."

"Oh yeah," I remembered.
