At Last

Scene Four

Adrien's POV

Marinette and I were beginning to get very excited about our play. I looked at the Chat Noir suit she had started. It was only a quarter done, but I thought it was pretty good.

"That's a good start, Marinette!" I complemented her.

"Thanks, Adrien. Anyways, I think we need to continue with the script. I can't wait for the ending! I know we won't be doing the ending until tomorrow, but still..." she said. I agreed. We started on scene four of the script.

Scene Four

(Ladybug is waiting for Chat Noir to arrive back)

Ladybug: (to herself) Now I see what he meant when he said that we never arrive at the same time, but we're always either early or late.

Chat Noir: (comes from behind) I knew you would figure it out.

Ladybug: (gasps and jumps) I didn't hear you or see you arrive here.

Chat Noir: What can I say? I'm like a cat in the night.

Ladybug: Did you remember the challenge?

Chat Noir: Of course. That's why I haven't said a single pun.

Ladybug: I still think I'm gonna win.

Chat Noir: No, you won't.

Ladybug: Actually, yes.

Chat Noir: Actually, no.

Ladybug: Yes.

Chat Noir: No.

Ladybug: Yes.

Chat Noir: No.

Ladybug: Yes.

Chat Noir: No.

Ladybug: Yes. Okay. We should stop now. I think that's enough arguing. I have to focus on winning. (A loud boom is heard)

Chat Noir: We should take care of that.

(They leave to take care of the akuma)

"Only one scene to go. See you tomorrow, Marinette!" I said.

"See you tomorrow!" she called back as I headed downstairs and out the door.

I went home, did my homework, and went to bed. The whole time, I was thinking about how in world I was keep my identity a secret from everyone. I was glad that Marinette didn't make the suit look too much like the real thing, or else I would be pretty worried.

I finally fell asleep and drifted into dreams.
