I pondered that question for several days but didn't find my answer. We were getting out of Charlie's car to meet Marina for lunch when, we were crowded by about 50 paparazzi.
"Charlie, what's going on? They've never been like this." I whispered.
"I don't know, Mer. Just keep walking." And so I did. We were making our way through the mob when one man grabbed me by the waist, dragging me away from Charlie. I began to scream for him. Charlie ran over to the man and punched him in the nose, causing it to bleed tremendously. Charlie picked me up gently and ran into the restaurant. He set me down and I started to shake violently. My skin turned a pale, paper, white. Charlie's mouth dropped and he called for a doctor. My eyelids got really heavy and I collapsed on the hard linoleum floor.
