After we grabbed something to eat, Charlie packed all of my clothes and we went to my house. When we arrived, I found a man at my front door. He had brown hair and a tuxedo on. Who would be at my house dressed like that? Was it Jason!?
"Meryl? Who is at your house?" Charlie asked through clenched teeth.
"I have no idea, Char."
As I practically fell out of Charlie's car, the man turned around and hugged me. When he pulled away I realized who it was, it was Luke!! "Hey Meryl. I'm sorry that I kind of showed up but you didn't call me back. So, I just thought I would come by. Is that okay?" Luke said embarrassed and worried about my response. I thought about telling him to never come into my life again, but, I noticed that Luke had changed. Whenever he used to talk to me, he would have an enormous amount of pride. Now, he seemed super shy and nervous, I kind of liked it.
"Yeah, sure. We can talk inside, just let me say goodbye to Charlie."
When I said goodbye to Charlie, I could see the surprise on his face. Eventually, he said goodbye and sped down the road.
