The next morning, I got up and threw my hair into a bun and barely put any make-up on. “I have to find a new outfit for tonight. Wait, what? This isn’t even a date! We are just having dinner as friends.” I reminded myself. I was so busy with my conflicting thoughts that I didn’t even check my phone. Before I knew it, my phone was making all kinds of sounds while I was trying to find something to wear for the day. I jogged over to my bedside table and saw that I had three messages from Charlie.
“Good morning beautiful!”
“What are your plans for tonight?”
“I guess you’re sleeping, sleep well.”
