When I awoke, all I could see were flashing lights. I heard a man telling me not to move my head or neck and that I was going to be okay. When I tried to talk, the man shushed me and told me that I could talk later. During the ambulance ride, I kept wondering where Charlie was. Was he at the rink? Did he go home? Was he going to meet us at the hospital? Is he hurt too? Then I thought angrily "Maybe he's with that Tanith girl." Honestly, I hadn't liked her in the first place. But, Charlie can date whoever he wants to date. It's none of my business. When I stopped thinking about Charlie, I craned my neck to the left and saw Marina smiling down at me. She began to play with my hair and told me to keep my head straight. I then realized that I was wrapped in about four blankets, had my forehead wrapped, and had a neck brace on. I began to feel my eyelids get super heavy. I looked to the doctor and he said "It's okay, you're safe. Try to get some rest." I closed my eyes and fell into a deep sleep.
