Turtles' Point of View
It had been a week since the turtles had crossed paths with the mysterious ninja on their patrol with the Foot. They were trying to find out of why he came into contact with the Foot or why he was even about to be killed by them in the first place. Or even why he never said anything when Donnie tried to help patch up his badly hurt leg as of what happened in their fight that same week.
"So, what of him then?" Raph asked his other brothers as they were jumping from rooftop to rooftop for their routine-based patrol across the city.
"I've been trying to get any information about him in terms of associations with the Foot, but I got nothing." Donnie replied, slightly disappointed for the unsuccessful information of the mysterious ninja.
"Don't sweat it Don, we might find out more of him, like right now!" Mikey then said as he was also looking down from the rooftop they were just currently on, earning suspicious looks from his older brothers.
"What do you mean by that Mikey?" they asked him in unison, approaching to where he was at the edge of the building's rooftop.
"Look down there dudes! He's right there now!" Mikey replied as he pointed a single green finger towards where the mysterious ninja from just last week was exiting out of an abandoned apartment building, holding a small black box in his hand.
As the turtles saw this, the others wondered to Donnie of what it could possibly be, and if the mysterious ninja could possibly be a thief. Donnie only could reply saying that the only way to find out would be to go after him and have him interrogated for it.
And so, the turtles were off, after the mysterious ninja, again.
~Timeskip~
The turtles eventually caught up with the mysterious ninja, who was about to enter the same abandoned building from earlier. Possibly as a means to try to throw them off of the mysterious ninja's trail. As the mysterious ninja entered the building, closely examining the strange black box, the turtles quickly slipped through the windows just above and were just on top of the railing of the building's second floor, waiting to strike. Then, on Leo's signal, the turtles leaped from the second floor and towards the mysterious ninja, surrounding him in a tight circle with their weapons at the ready and in their fighting stances to boot.
"What ya' got there, tough guy?" Raph began to try to intimidate the mysterious ninja, demanding of what he was trying to hide from him and his brothers.
"Look, just hand it over, and we won't give you any trouble." Donnie added.
"Like seriously, we helped you from the Foot, and now you thank us by stealing? What do you have to say for yourself?" Leo then interjected with disbelief on the mysterious ninja's behalf.
But then that was when the turtles noticed, for the first time, that this mysterious ninja's normally (E/C) eyes turned from fire brick red to saddle brown to brown and to lime green over and over again. As they were glaring from turtle to turtle surrounding him, without saying a single word.
Then that was also when the mysterious ninja threw a smoke bomb down to the ground at his feet, causing the terrapin turtle brothers to ram into each other as they tried to catch the mysterious ninja in mid-action.
Before the turtles could even start to look for the mysterious ninja, the mysterious ninja had found them first and began to spar against Raph with his own pair of sai. The other turtles watched the two of them in battle for 10-15 minutes as Raph somehow got beaten down by the mysterious ninja and was sent flying into the facility's wall. Leo then signaled for Mikey to step up.
