Wonpil knew it—he, Jae, and Sungjin. The three of them knew it was going to happen. It was already planned, but what they didn't expect was it happened earlier than the expected date. And what surprised him was that, there were casualties, which was absurd.

Wonpil drew the curtains, letting thin rays of sunshine penetrate the window. It was the first time in months that he saw the sun. He let out a small sigh, tied the curtains, and went back to his previous position—him leaning on the wall, arms crossed while staring at the two sleeping bodies across him.

With white bandages that covered her head, Juliene was sleeping soundly. It was like she was having a beautiful dream and had no plans of waking up, since it's already been four days yet she was still asleep.

Wonpil clenched his right fist. A thought always crept in his mind and he's trying his best to ignore that and believed that everything would be alright.

That Juliene would wake up soon.

Wonpil nodded continuously and sighed. His gaze then shifted to Brian who was sleeping beside Juliene. Wonpil told him to sleep on the sofa, but Brian ignored him and chose to sit on a chair and laid his arms and head on the bed. He held Juliene's hand as he slept. Wonpil stared at them.

'So until now, you are still in love with her,' Wonpil thought. 'You still managed to love her even though she's already owned by someone else.'

Wonpil's thoughts were interrupted when Jae entered the room. He came in with two overnight bags and a plastic of 3 lunch boxes from the convenience store. He looked like he just survived a tornado on his way to the hospital because his hair, a combination of black and blonde, was a disaster. And just like him, Jae did not sleep for the whole four days, which was visible on his face because of the dark circles under his eyes. Wonpil would catch him awake in the middle of the night, standing beside the window and mindlessly looking outside as if he was thinking of something that was out of this world. Even his glasses could not hide this weariness anymore.

Well, he couldn't blame him. And Jae couldn't blame him either.

Jae laid the plastic on the table and the bags on the sofa. "Did you sleep?" His voice sounded tired and hoarse. Wonpil shook his head. "Did you eat?" The same response. Jae pulled out the chair under the table. "Then join me." Wonpil walked to the table and pulled the chair beside Jae who was already opening his share.

They ate silently. Wonpil glanced at Jae from time to time. It was obvious that the guy was dead tired. He went to their apartment to get clothes and his computer and his own internet modem for him to use while he's in the hospital. He was probably—no, absolutely tracking down Sungjin's whereabouts. He must. However, with his current state, it seemed that he hadn't find it yet.
