3rd Person P.O.V

Juliene finds herself standing in front of the chocolate shop Dowoon and she visited back when they moved to Busan. She looks around her, people with unfamiliar faces walk past her as if she weren't there. She returns her gaze to the large signboard above her. DALA 100% CHOCOLATE. She then looks at her reflection on the glass door and finds out she is wearing a hospital gown. She squints her eyes to confirm that she is really wearing a hospital gown in the middle of the sidewalk and in front of a luxurious chocolate shop where people are busy eating.

"What's happening?" She asks herself in a whisper, but it hasn't taken long enough for her to realize that she is dreaming.

People don't normally ignore a woman who's wearing a hospital dress in the middle of the sidewalk, do they? What's more, Juliene notices that the only reflection she sees on the glass door is hers.

Knowing that this is all a dream, Juliene takes a deep breath and enters the shop. However, by the time she opens the door, she realizes that she's suddenly in the kitchen of their apartment. She's now wearing a brown cardigan, pants, and a blue apron. She blinks a few times and is startled by the sound of the boiling water. She immediately turns off the stove and furrows her eyebrows.

"Wait..." She says, "I think I know this—"

"Noona!" She is surprised by the familiar high-pitched voice. "Someone's ringing the doorbell!"

Juliene doesn't waste any time to run towards the place where the voice came from. In the living room she finds little Dowoon sitting on the floor, his eyes glued to the television. She sighs in relief, and knows too well what will happen next when she walks towards the door and opens it.

She will find her lover, Park Sungjin, holding a plate with creamy lasagna on it. (refer to Chapter 3: Merry Christmas!)

With a smile on her face, she sashays towards the door and opens it. She did not peek at the small opening on the door anymore because she is sure that the same person will appear in front of her -- the person that made her fall in love all over again every day when she wakes up, the person who denies the fact that he can't cook, the person who has the mind of a businessman but has the heart of a musician.

However, the person that is standing there in front of her is not the person she has expected. That beige sweater, that fringe, those eyes, those lips... everything about that person is all too familiar to her.

She feels the ache that creeps in her head.

"Good evening!" The person greets.

Hearing his voice finally breaks the wall that has blocked Juliene's mind to see and remember... well... everything.

She remembers the chocolate shop where they first met; the Japanese restaurant where they first talked to each other; that Christmas where she finally accepted the fact that she is already in love; that one year of misunderstandings and heartbreak, but is resolved by a sweet confession of love; that one day in spring when they first kissed; and that one night in winter, when they were supposed to celebrate their 1st anniversary.
