3. My Dream Boyfriend... Not in my fathers eyes....

Chapter 3

Flashback

I was six and Gage was twelve. I was playing with my Barbies in the living room.

All of the sudden, Gage burst through the door with a cop holding his shoulder. Gage had a very angry look on his face and Daddy laughed. He and the officer went outside to the garage to talk, leaving Gage in the kitchen. Then Gage ran upstairs and I followed him. When I got all the way up the stairs and into Gage's room, I saw that he was putting all of his clothes into a big bag. I found this irrevelant to my barbies wedding, so I ran back downstairs.

Then Daddy told me to go oupstairs to Gages room, and say these exact words. So I went upstairs and sat down in front of Gage's closed door.

"Gagey! Please don't go away! Please! I'll miss you, Gagey! Who will play Barbies husband? Who will play Barbies daddy? Gagey, please don't leave me." I begged.

Gage opened the door and I saw that he had a tear stained face. He bent down to hug me, but daddy tackled him, punched him, and dragged him into the room and closed the door. I started crying.

Later that day when I was going to bed, Gage came into my room and hugged me. "Deirdra, I love you." He told me and I said I loved him back. I cried into his shoulder. And he layed down with me and hugged me while I fell asleep.

I was only half asleep when I heard him say "Deirdra, I love you with all my heart, and if Dad tells you who to hang out with and who not to hang out with, ignore him. I've got to go now Deir."

I turned and his eyes got a little big, for he was shocked.

"Why are you going?" I whispered.

He looked down. "You'll understand when you're older, Deir."

End Of Flashback

I shot up in my bed, and looked around. Okay, it was just a dream. Just a dream.

But Gage had said those words again. Again. /You'll understand when you're older, deir./

My hair and shirt was wet from sweat and I smelled horrible. It was only ten o'clock P.M. so I took a shower and got into my favourite outfit. It was a black skirt and a white shirt that said "Hollister Co." I put Will's hoodie over my head and pulled the hood on my head. I got my Sperry shoes and climbed out the window. I left it open just a crack so I could get back inside.

I climbed down the tree and jumped onto the ground. I ran around to the other side of the house and then I jogged through the woods next to my house until I found the road that lead to McDonalds. I quickly and nervously bought a Double Cheeseburger and a coke and started walking to no where in particular while eating my food.

"Help!!!" I heard someone scream in an alley. I froze and looked at the darkness. "Please help me!" The female yelled again.

A car drove part me and the headlights shined into the alley and I had a perfect view of why the lady was screaming.

A man was pushing her up against the brick wall and was pulling her pants down, about to rape her.

"Hey!" I yelled and the men stopped. "Hey, leave her alone!" I yelled and dropped my cheeseburger and drink.

The girl ran out of the alley and I stood there, feeling terrified. A hand wrapped around my waist and around my mouth. I bet the hand, but they dragged me into the alley.
