I might run out of ideas in the middle of the story...but I will complete this book no matter what and I will try to make it as good as the first. On to chapter 2!

"So this is Lilycove city. I've never seen so many people in one city all at one time," Gladion said. He was guiding (y/n) by the hand so they could meet the professor at the pokémon center but there were so many people around that it was hard to find their way.

To make matters worse, (y/n) was carrying Reiji in her arms and everyone who passed them by gave them strange looks. Not only that but (y/n)'s hair still almost hit the ground.

She had long since figure out how to control its color but she could never keep it short. She had tried cutting it back in Kanto but before the week was over, it had all grown back. He wondered if any of the people in the crowd could help with that problem because (y/n) had to wear her hair braided and Gladion wanted her to just let it flow but of course she wouldn't do that right now.

"Um, Gladion?" she asked him. He could barely hear her with all of the noise around her.

"Yes, (y/n). What is it?" he responded hoping that she had heard him despite the noise of the crowd around them.

"Reiji said that before we go to the pokémon center to meet the professor, we should look around a bit. The professor did say that he would take us straight to Littleroot Town once we found him, so I thought it was a good idea," she said.

Gladion didn't like the idea of staying in the crowd of strangers any longer than he had to but if (y/n) really wanted to explore, then he would let her do it. Love did that to you sometimes. It was something Gladion still didn't understand.

"As long as we can go somewhere peaceful then maybe we can explore," Gladion said sounding a little reluctant. She must have noticed the hesitation in his voice.

"Well if you don't want to, that's fine. We could go ahead and get you to a less populated place. I didn't know the crowd of people was aggravating you that much," she said. Gladion shook his head at her.

"No, I'll be fine. As long as no one tries to take you away from me then we can get this tour done without a problem," Gladion said.

(Y/n) thought this was funny so she laughed at him a little but Gladion was being serious. He didn't want a repeat of last time's events. That entire year in Kanto caused him to change quite a lot but his hatred of too much attention still remained. (Y/n) asked him where they should go first and because he didn't know, he told her to ask Reiji.

Before she did though, a bunch of people in red costume-like suits headed in their direction bumped into (y/n) causing her and Reiji to fall. Gladion caught her before she could hit the ground but it still bothered him.

Before Gladion even attempted to address the people, (y/n) put her finger to his lips to quiet him and she shook her head at him slightly. He couldn't speak but his eyes showed protest.

When she was standing on her own two feet again she said, "Something about them reminded me of those people back in Kanto. They're bad news."

They continued on but they simply just wandered around a little bit rather than deciding on a place to go. They found a really huge department store and it peaked his interest but once he thought of all of the people that could be there, he decided against going in.

They went to this weird contest place and watched one of the performances and then they went to the shore, which wasn't that crowded at all and reminded Gladion of the beaches back in Alola, and the two of them sat there looking around and occasionally splattering one another with a few drops of water. Reiji rolled around in the water like a child. When they finally got to the pokémon center, the professor wasn't even there.

"Did he leave thinking that we hadn't gotten here yet?" (y/n) said worriedly. Just then, a man with a white lab coat walked in and called to them.

"Why hello! You two must be Gladion and (y/n)! Professor Sycamore has told me all about you two! Sorry, I'm late though. Come over here and sit," he said gesturing to a nearby table. The two of them walked to the professor and sat down where he indicated.

"Whoa, what a mighty cool pokémon you have there. I've heard about the difference in the pokémon from Alola but I've never seen it with my own eyes until now," the professor said.

"I'm not that special. Honestly, do you mind. I've had enough staring for one day," Reiji said. Gladion heard Reiji only because he was holding (y/n)'s hand. She had gotten increasingly better at using her powers as well as hiding them.

"Reiji don't be rude to the professor he's just being curious," (y/n) said to her vulpix. The professor laughed at this.

"How do you know he was being rude?" he asked. (Y/n) froze for a second once she realized her mistake but then she said, "My bond to my pokémon is nearly impossible to break so I know when they're being rude and when they aren't." Gladion was thankful that she was able to save herself.

"That's amazing!" the professor exclaimed. "As you already know, my name is Professor Birch and I will be taking you both to my lab in Littleroot Town. I must warn you though. It might take some time to get there since it's quite far from here," the professor said. Gladion immediately knew that the professor meant walking all the way there and he was not about to do that.

"Pardon me, but can't we just fly there. It would be much easier than walking," Gladion suggested.

Birch went pale and then said, "Well you see, I don't have any pokémon on me right now and even if I did, none of then would be able to use the move fly because I haven't completed any gyms," he said scratching his head.

"I could use my Charizard Ride Pager. Then we could all fly there," (y/n) said. Gladion knew this would not end well if the professor went along with that idea.

"What is a Ride Pager?" the professor asked. (Y/n) looled at him blankly before answering.

"It's a pager for a ride," she answered. So much for an explanation. The professor still didn't get it.

"You'll see," (y/n) said standing up. "All I need to know is where we're going and I might also need a map."

(Y/n) really could amaze people because Professor Birch sure seemed amazed. The two of them followed her outside where she found an area where not many people were gathered around. (Y/n) pulled out her ride pager and summoned two Charizards.

"Um, (y/n) you did't tell me that you had befriended two Charizards," Gladion said, a little bit surprised.

"Oh, I thought you already knew. Couldn't you tell that I alternated which one I called all of the time?" she responded. Gladion stayed silent to avoid any embarrassment. In the very little time that had passed by, people had already began to crowd around them.

"Charlie can you self fly my friend here. He's never seen someone summon a Charizard with a ride pager so he won't be able to guide you. Just fly next to Chase and you'll be fine, ok," she told Charlie, the second Charizard.

"You named them?" Gladion asked. (Y/n) just nodded and gestured for Professor Birch to ride Charlie. She and Gladion would ride Chase.

Gladion found it a little bit surprising that (y/n) was able to ignore some of the comments that the crowd around her was giving such as, "She's a pokemon witch!" or "She's a pokemon whisperer!" and even "Oh my goldeen! She's so darn pretty! I want her to be my new idol!" They left the crowd of people in awe as they flew to Littleroot Town. Gladion was guiding Chase while (y/n) looked at the map that Birch had given her and told Gladion which was to steer.

So far, Necrozma's words to hadn't come true even to the smallest degree, but Gladion had already forgotten that Necrozma told him it would start with a lie and Gladion had already done that.

And so I forgot the after author's note but here it is. I was wondering if I should include sapphire and/or ruby or should they be brendan and/or may? I don't really know but I'm not even sure they will be in the book yet so...any suggestions?
