I am excited about my future stories. So far I already have three planned. I'll tell you about them in the After You Read Chapter so hold on until then okay! Here's another update from Wolf-san!
____________________________________"Better him than me," Gladion muttered to himself while he, Lillie, Sun, and Jirachi sat in the audience of the Contest Spectacular's Contest Hall. Hau and (y/n) were up on the stage as the hosts of the entire show since the actual one didn't show up.
The reason being that after the two days were up, Hau, Sun, and Lillie insisted on coming back with them to Hoenn only for a few days. Gladion of course said no and then (y/n) of course said yes. Since the two were in a relationship, (y/n) won because it was very hard for Gladion to say no to her.
"I thought you would have been great up there, Gladion," Lillie teased from beside him. Gladion only sighed in response. He didn't mind watching as long as he was near someone that he knew, but the noise was starting to get to him.
The funny thing about it though was that the crowd was far noisier when Hau and (y/n) were onstage rather than when the contestants and their pokémon were onstage.
Gladion was just glad that Hau had so willingly taken his contest outfit and went onstage instead of him. He couldn't imagine what he would look like in it. I just wasn't his taste. Lisia of course was one of the contestants and when she went onstage, Sun got stars in his eyes. Gladion also noticed that this seemed to make Lillie jealous. He could have just been seeing things since the crowd was making so much noise but he would tease her about it later just to be sure.
Since the host wouldn't be back for the rest of the day, Gladion had to sit in a crowded room until Hau and (y/n) finished hosting for the day. Who knew how long that would take.
"Sun, Sun! Lookie at the pretty lights. They're shinier and they're pwetty!" Jirachi said as she grabbed Sun's arm and shook it. That's right. Gladion was NOT going to sit next to that childish yet ancient pokémon girl. Luckily, (y/n) had convinced her and Mew to stay at the Sky Pillar and wait for Latios and Latias. That way, the two didn't have to go with them to Alola.
When they returned to Hoenn, Mew and Latios had left and Jirachi was waiting for them at their apartment. They had no idea how she'd gotten in but (y/n) said that Latias probably got tired of her and sent her to them. That still didn't mean that he would endure who knows how many hours of Jirachi's childlike endeavors. He let Sun deal with the girl as soon as he volunteered.
Unfortunately for Sun, he didn't know what he was getting himself into when he signed up so now he was suffering as Jirachi bothered him nonstop.
Timeskip brought to you by Lu and Ciel because they're cool!
Nighttime had already come and guess where Gladion still was? Yes, still in the Contest Spectacular but the shows had already long since taken place. He was just simply waiting for (y/n) to wake up from her nap.
After the shows were over, she and Hau were too tired to go anywhere else, so they were allowed to sleep in the backstage rooms for the stars but Hau had already awaken. Gladion was now sitting next to (y/n)'s sleeping figure. He was about to get up when he saw her move a little and then she opened her eyes with a sleepy yawn. She sat up and looked at him with her head tilted sideways.
"Hey Gladion. How long was I sleep?" she said still seemingly half awake.
"Everyone else is at our apartment now. I took them there while Lisia watched over you and then I came back," Gladion told her. She shook her head.
"No, you didn't answer my question," she said with a small pout.
"I know, but I don't want to tell you. Come on. Let's go home," Gladion responded. "But I'm not awake yet and I'm tired still," (y/n) complained as she moved closer to him and hugged him from behind. She rested her head on his shoulder and started to drift off to sleep.
"Hey, wake up (y/n). We really have to go," Gladion told her with a little pleaingng found in his voice.
"Hrm? Five more minutes please," she said as she snuggled closer to him.
"I'm warning you," he said with a smile on his face. He knew exactly what he was going to do if she didn't get up.
"No! I wanna go back to sleep," (y/n) said. And with that, she layed back onto the bed and pulled Gladion with her like her was some stuffed pokédoll.
He blushed a little but then said to (y/n), "Fine then but you'll be wide awake soon enough. How about I carry you home. If you get up, then you can sleep on the way there.
He was afraid that he'd missed his chance and that she had fallen asleep but she let him go and sluggishly got up to walk to the door. (Y/n) still seemed to be half asleep so Gladion stood next to her pulled her closer to him and kissed her.
Not on the cheek this time but a direct kiss. It was short but it was enough for (y/n)'s eyes to shoot open in shock. Then Gladion pulled away from her. "Are you awake now?" he asked with a smirk. (Y/n) just nodded and rested her forehead on his and just stared into his eyes. Her own eyes now mimicking his emerald green.
"We really should be going now. Lillie is probably worried sick about us," Gladion whispered. He wanted to kiss her again but he figured that once was enough. She wasn't expecting him to do it in the first place. Gladion and (y/n) walked out of the Contest Spectacular hand in hand and looked up once they got outside only to see the moon. It was shinning brightly despite it only being visible as a crescent.
"I love that moon," (y/n) said as they made their way home. "Hey Gladion?" she asked. "Hm?" he said as he looked over at her. "After we finish our adventures here in Hoenn, where do you want to go next? I don't want our journeying to just end here," she said.
"Who knows. As long as I can keep you safe, we can go anywhere you want," he answered.
"You said that last time!" (y/n) said laughing. Gladion decided to carry (y/n) the rest of the way and they bith went to sleep once they got home.
