The Lie (Book 2 of The Wish)

Chapter 20

And the battle begins. Rayquaza and (y/n) into the chaos of Primal Groudon and Kyogre! This is going to be fun to write.

         Rayquaza made it to the place where Kyogre and Groudon were having their petty fight. He was going to put an end to this.

        "Hold on, (y/n). You dont want to fall in the middle of a fight like this one," Rayquaza said as he circled over the two fighting pokémon.

        "Do you see that rock over there? It's near enough for you to be safe and still support me with long range attacks. You're important to all of this so I can't let you get hurt. There's a reason I sent you half of my power just now," Rayquaza said to her. (Y/n) asked no questions as she jumped down to the rock that Rayquaza mention.

      Rayquaza was suprised to see her jump from such heights and remain unscathed. She nodded to him and he proceeded to attack. He used Drago Meteor and caught them both in the attack. The two pokémon had been so busy fighting each other that they hadn't noticed Rayquaza until he'd struck them. Now their full attention was focused on the flying dragon as he came to a stop in front of them.

        "Can't you fools see that you're causing damage to this world. Your childish arguments are putting the lives of all people and pokémon at risk!" Rayquaza yelled.

        "Big brother Rayquaza, why have you come to stop us again. If the humans and pokémon are suffering, so be it. Arceus can always creat more of them!" Groudon said.

        "Big brother Rayquaza, you are getting on my nerves. I have come to stop our little brother's rampage. I will put an end to all of his magma and insolent land. All of the sea pokémon will be free to live as they please. Can't you see that I am helping the world?" Kyogre said.

        Rayquaza was about to say something else when an enormous sphere of energy landed smack into Groudon's face. It was like when humans got sucker punches but this was much worse. Groudon nearly fell from its impact.

        "Who dares interrupt our talk with Big brother!" the two pokémon hissed simultaneously.

        "You jerks! You don't even realize what you two are doing. You don't care who's lives you ruin! You don't care how much you're making people and pokémon suffer with your stupid weather phenomena! You're both sorry excuses for legendary pokémon! That's why I'm going to make you pay!!" (y/n) screamed at them as she launched a sphere of energy into Kyogre's face this time.

       Rayquaza hadn't expected her to do this but he should have known better than to bring an angry eighteen year old to a giant pokémon fight.

        "The girl must die!" Kyogre hissed looking in her direction. Perhaps the two pokémon didn't recognize her from earlier.

        "I for once agree with you, brother," Groudon said. They were headed towards (y/n) but Rayquaza quickly got in front of them.

      "If you want the girl, you get through me. Otherwise, I suggest you two go take another nap!" Rayquaza said.

        "You really need your beauty sleep!" (y/n) added in because why not? She wanted to help out too.

        "First you attack me and then you insult my looks?!" Kyogre said. (Y/n) was surprised that the legendary pokémon even cared about such things.

        "The girl must die!" Groudon hissed repeating the same words Kyogre had just spoken.

        "I already said that you imbecile!" Kyogre yelled and then the two went back to fighting each other.

      "Stop fighting right this instant!" Rayquaza roared. Groudon and Kyogre looked at Rayquaza with equally annoyed looks.

         "Big brother is getting annoying. He should die too," Groudon complained as he used Precipe Blades on Kyogre.

         "If we work together, then we can take down his sky elements! It's a deal. Big brother mist die!" Kyogre said as he used Origin Pulse on Groudon.

      The two pokémon faced their brother and charged at him. The battle was on. Groudon, Kyogre, and Rayquaza all going full force. Several attacks went through the sky and sea. Dragon Pulse. Origin Pulse. Lava Plume. Precipe Blades. Dragon Ascent. Hydro Pump. Aurora Sphere from yours truly. Then the unexpected happened. Sheer Cold. The hit landed on Rayquaza and the mega evolved pokémon felt to the seas with a great crash.

      "Rayquaza!" (y/n) shouted. She launched herself into the sea and swam towards the fallen pokémon. He had fallen not far from her rock so she made it there in no time. To her surprise, Rayquaza hadn't fainted but he did lose his mega evolved state.

        "Brother you are weak. You have taken a liking to humans," Kyogre said.

        "Brother you have failed. Now you will die for your mistake," Groudon said.

      "No. How can this be possible? You're Rayquaza. Why couldn't you beat them like last time?" (y/n) asked him.

         "Because I gave my power to you. You are this world's hero. Not me," Rayquaza said before fainting. Groudon and Kyogre were still about to attack.

        "Stop it! Rayquaza has fallen so there's no need to harm him any further! He's your brother, remember!" (y/n) shouted at them.

      They didn't listen and attacked anyway. (Y/n) was not about to let anyone let get hurt on her watch. Befire the atracks made contact, she had climbed onto Rayquaza's side and yelled, "Leave this world alone!"

        Her hair rose and turned a deep obsidian black and her eyes became blood red. Then there was a burst of energy and then (y/n)'s vision blurred into nothingness before returning again. She found herself towering above the two Primal Reverted pokémon and she let out a huge roar.

        "This girl is familiar now. Yes I know for sure," Kyogre said with slight regret.

        "Indeed she is. That's power from the girl who rules the dream realm. She is older now. Had I recognized her earlier, I could have escaped her wrath," Groudon agreed.

      The two pokémon cowered as she rose higher and spiraled up into the sky. She targeted Groudon first and used Dragon Ascent. Yes, (y/n) had just become twice as powerful as Rayquaza. She changed into the mega evolved state of the dragon and the battle resumed. This time the odds were in her favor.
