While Augustus is shopping or whatever. I decide to walk around the town square. This town square is so beautiful. Little lilacs line the shops. There is a big beautiful fountain. The water from the sparkles in the light. I sit down at the fountain. I stare at the people in the town. There is a lot of old people here. But that is okay. I don't really care if the judge me.
While I sit there at the fountain I see Augustus buying a packet of cigarettes. I laugh. I remembered when he told me that metaphor. I remember like it was yesterday. That was my favorite memory of him. And the eggs.
He walks out of the store. Then he walks into the jewelry store. I am puzzled. He just went into a messy cigar store to buy some cigarettes then he walks into a beautiful, pretty, neat jewelry store. He walks in the door and disappears out of sight. He comes out later stuffing something into his pocket.
He sees me then walks over to me in a face pace.
¨What are you doing here?¨ he asks nervously.
¨Just walking around.¨ I reply. ¨What are you doing here.¨
¨Nothing.¨ his response is too quick. ¨Lets go see Isaac.¨ he says trying to change the subject. But I go along with it anyways.
