PROLOGUE

People say it's all about being popular or cool in high school. Well not for me.

I have walked through elementary school and freshman years in high school and I'm known to be the quiet, timid, unconcerned dude who walks in the hallways with no one to talk to. There's more to everything than what you see.

People don't understand me. I lost my wolf and I think my family have a connection with that but I wouldn't know because my dad took away my memory before he passed away.

Nobody can ever understand me. Being depressed is kind of my talent. I have felt this for a long time.Infact I can't remember not having to force myself to take this pain away.

Chapter 1

I was awaken by my loud alarm clock only to find out it's time to go back to o school. Apparently, summer was over and I'm a sophomore now.

"This year is going to be different," I thought to myself

I had a quick bath and while I was putting on some clothes, I heard bangs on the door.

"Mum?"

*continued bangs*

"Mum."

I walked closer to the door and Dylan came rushing in and startled me. Dylan has been my best friend since we were like five. I can even consider him as a brother to me.

"New year man. Any new plans?" Dylan asked while jumping on my nearly laid bed.

"Nice to see you too," I responded with the usual sarcasm.

"Same old Mitchel. Let's jet before we get late on our first day of school"

"Alright dude"

We said our goodbyes to mum and hopped into Dylan's Jeep which he got for his sixteenth birthday and drove off to school.

---Emily's POV---

I was standing at the car park listening to music with my ipod waiting for Jackson to meet me.

"Oh great. Looks like Mitchel and Dylan have come," I said watching them park in one of the vacant spots.

I looked away as if I hadn't seen them and they just walked into the school.

Fortunately, I heard Jackson's car honking at me. He quickly turned off the engine and rushed to me and crushed his lips against mine.

"Good morning sunshine,"

"Looks like somebody is late again, "

He chuckled

I always loved it when he smiled, it just makes him look more of a hottie.

He grabbed my hand and we walked into the school.

---Mitchel's POV---

I hopped out of the car only to behold the most beautiful person I have ever seen, Emily Johnson.

I have had a huge crush on her since freshman year. My Wolf would get so excited whenever she's around. But apparently he's not there anymore.

She saw me walk out of the car but pretended as if she hasn't seen Dylan and I. I could see what she was doing but I decided to overlook it.

"Dude, we gonna go in or what?"Dylan asked getting impatient

"Looks like somebody still hasn't gotten over Emily," He continued

"Dude she's my mate. I can't live without her," I answered.

"Just forget it. We're gonna be late, " I said while walking into the school.
