Blindsided

---Mitchel's POV---

I was attacked by those animals.  I could feel them trying to knock me over. As I fell, One dragged me to the man who was standing beside them.

I lay on the floor helplessly as the mutts kept growling and stalking me. My heart was pounding and I felt my temperature rising.

The man leaned closer and used his finger to slowly trace the back of my neck. This fingers started to feel very sharp and felt like claws being clawed into my skin. He leaned backwards abruptly. Blood was oozing out of my neck and dripped on the floor.

"So, the rumors are true. The Gales have returned to Forks.  And they brought the Dead Wolf with them."

I knew this man was referring to me but I didn't know what he was talking about.

"You don't have any idea of why I called you that do you? Haha! I guess Leah ( Mum ) hasn't told you about what happened to you."

"Who are you? " I managed to say despite the overwhelming pain and dripping blood.

"Don't worry. You'll get to know me soon. But know this, I have a long history with your mother way before your father came around and snatched her from me. I'm still taking my revenge on the Gales including...You. I'll be back and you won't have a choice, "

He said while walking away taking the two mutts with him.

I was stunned. A man with two huge dogs had sent some weird shivers down my spine. But who in the world was that? And what the hell did he mean by I won't have a choice?

---Jackson's POV ---

I was completely humiliated today by that wimp Gale. Nobody has ever been able to make a shot with me in the goal. And this kid comes along and rubs me in the mud.

Gale has a secret. It's obvious. And I'm not going to rest until I find out what exactly this guy is hiding from the world.

---Mitchel's POV---

It was morning now and I couldn't stop thinking about this dude since last night. I had nightmares about him and surprisingly the scratch he left behind my neck hasn't healed yet.

Mum walked into my room and saw me lying on my bed wide awake.

"I know you're bothered by something or someone. Mind sharing it with me?"

"What happened to me two years ago" I asked looking angry

"What are u talking about?"

"Don't lie to me! Some guy with some huge dogs asked me whether you had told me what happened to me."

"A man with two huge mutts..." Mum said bewildered

"...Never talk to that man again. He's dangerous." She continued.

"Dangerous?! Is he like one of us?" I asked

"Yes he is but he's bigger, stronger, faster than anyone of us. He's the Alpha."

"You mean he's the one who killed dad? "

"Yes. He killed Henry. " She stated while burning with rage.

Her eyes were turning bright golden brown. She was shifting.

She let off a huge howl before dashing out of my room into the Woods.

---Dylan's POV ---

I was parking slowly into Mitchel's driveway to pick him up for school when I suddenly saw his mom running out of the house and shift into a huge red wolf with a white neck tone and stood there so elegantly.

She looked at me and bolted into the Woods. She had bright golden brown eyes which were ever so pure.

A few seconds later, Mitchel came dashing out.

"Start the car. We're going after her" He said looking worried.

"Cool."

Guess we're missing school today.

---Mitchel's POV ---

Dylan and I were searching for mum in the woods. She shifted and is probably fuming with rage at the moment.

"Dude, What's wrong with your mum? She shifted and bolted into the Woods! " Dylan exclaimed

"I know.  Apparently we found the Alpha yesterday. In the store just as I was texting you, he came in and threatened mum and I"

"No way!"

"Yeah and he called me the dead Wolf, whatever that is" I responded

"Maybe he has something to do with you losing your abilities."

"I'm sure. Wait! Turn here. "

Dylan made a sharp curve and we found mum lurking around a huge house with a lot of glass windows. It was completely surrounded by trees.

Mum suddenly stopped and howled as if to attract the attention of the inhabitants. But instead, four huge wolves came from the Woods and stood behind mum. She howled again and they all howled in unison.

We were totally freaking out in the car.  Dylan wanted to get out of the car to get a better look but something happened. 

Three Black wolves came running out of the house and stood facing mum and her wolves.

The black Wolf leading them turned and looked at the car and growled.  Surprisingly it looked away and continue to face mum.

I figured that this guy might probably be the Alpha. This was because his eyes were beaming read. As if to be drowned in blood.

The Alpha started for the car and his pack mates followed in behind him. I could see the thirst for blood in their eyes. The thirst to kill.

" Holy shit! " Dylan screamed.
