I'm having problems right now. Might need some time to recover. This book will be on hold indefinitely. Thank you for being patient with me.

--Mitchel's POV--

I was running back into the woods in search of some clothes to wear.  I had shifted back and was completely clueless to where I was going or how I was going to get myself clothed.

My head began to ache and I could feel my body becoming weaker by the second. My vision also began to blur till I could barely see anything around me. I don't think I have ever ever felt this way throughout my entire existence.

I slowed down until I came to a complete stop. I couldn't keep myself from blacking out. I hit the ground with a huge thud. I let out a grunt of discomfort as I could smell the animal droppings I was lying in. That was just what I needed right now.

--Sam's POV--

I got off the phone with Dylan, my son, and he says Mitchel and his family haven't returned.

I was sitting in my van at the Gale's pack house waiting for something, anything that could lead me to them.

I have always been close with the Gales. I'm their emissary. I have been around ever since Leah was just a little cub. As an emissary, it's my job to keep this particular clan's history under wraps from the outside world. Leah and I were very close. in fact, if we were any closer, we'd be married.

I was like her best friend since we actually grew up together here. i was around when she started dating this guy, Max. They were seriously in love with each other. Max was one of them, a werewolf.

Things were going so well for Leah and Max that they even considered themselves mates. Then on that particular day, the day their wall came crumbling down upon them. Leah was in the store shopping for groceries on a Saturday morning at the local grocery store, when there was a sudden fire outbreak. This ember consumed almost half of the store before any customer or employee noticed. There was an immediate stampede. People rushing to the exits in search for safety. Leah, with her special abilities, ran like she had never done before.

She was tripped by a collapsed brick on the ground. And just when she was lying on the ground, realizing that that moment was going to be her end, a young man with golden brown eyes rushed into the scene, carried her in his arms and continued running in the direction of the exit until they were safely across the street, staring at the burning building.

When Leah finally calmed down, she knew at that very moment that he was her true mate, Michael. They grew closer really fast since he was an alpha. They enjoyed their early love lives very well until they both moved away from here and got  settled somewhere else.

Meanwhile, someone was very pissed off. He went totally AWOL for years after swearing to kill Michael no matter the consequences. That was the last I heard of him, the last I heard of Michael, and the last time Leah actually narrated anything to me.

Well currently, I'm a vet in the local pet hospital which happens to be very close to my brother's pet store, amazing right. And for the past few months, Mitchel has been my most trustworthy employee compared to other teenagers. We've developed a relationship like no other and I believe the feeling is mutual. Although we are very good friends, he doesn't know that I know more than I'm saying. He sees me as a good friend who has no idea about what he is but on the contrary I know even much more than he will ever know.

Completely drowned in the past, i shook my head and teleported back to reality. The area was very quiet. The slightest noise would echo around the entire site. I stepped out of the car to see if I could get a better view and suddenly I heard a loud howl which must have shaken the entire area. The ground underneath me began to vibrate during the period of the howl. I haven't heard this type of howl in years. It must have been the black wolves alpha's howl. But why would he howl like that? I mean I know its a full moon but why?
