When we got back to my house, John Luke's mom called. She said that his doctor called today and said he could get his cast off.
"This is amazing. I can't stand this thing" he said
"Sorry. It's my fault you even have it" I said as I grabbed his hand
"Molly, don't say that. If I would've known how to ride it and not screw up I wouldn't have broken it. It's surely not your fault" he said.
"Okay. I still feel bad about it though"
"Well let's go get this thing off!" John Luke said
"Let's go!" I said. We headed towards his truck. He opened the door like usual and then hopped in his side. It took a half hour to get to his doctor's, but the ride was fun. We talked about anything that came to mind. From our favorite food to what we hated.
"John Luke Robertson" he said when we got inside
"Okay have a seat and the doctor will be with you shortly" the receptionist said as we walked away
"We all know we'll be sitting here for like an hour" he said, but 10 minutes later they called him back.
"Are you ready to get this off?" the nurse said
"Yes! I can't stand it" he said
"That's what most people say" she said back. He looks at me and grabs my hand
"Okay well sit there and miss you can sit here" she said and I took the seat next to JL.
"I'm going to take it off now. If I hurt you just say something" she said. It didn't take long and we were on our way again. His arm still hurt a little, but that's kinda expected. Since it was only around 3 we decided to go see a movie. He let me choose and I chose a chick flick. We sat down and held hands.
----- MOVIE ENDED-------
"I can't believe you cried that much" JL said
"I always do. It was so sad. I don't know how you didn't" I said
"Well I had to comfort my girl who was crying"
"Aww, you're so sweet" I said
"Let's head back to my house" I said and we headed for his truck.
