“Nay, Tay, Kuya… meet Chris, Clyde’s brother. He’s my----“ before I could finish my sentence, Chris cut me off again… for the nth time in my life!
“I am her boyfriend!” he kid.
“No, he’s not! He’s my friend! Don’t you ever believe him!” I shouted and looked at him trying to make him understand what I am trying to say.
My family was laughing already because of us. I knew it, Chris was just teasing me. my brother would know for sure that I won’t ever be in a relationship again unless it’s his best friend.
“You are so cute when you’re mad, babe! I think I’m going to enjoy my stay here. Your family are nice. And look at my brother, he seemed nervous!” he was laughing while looking at Clyde, and I can’t help but stare at him, too. I saw him sweating! Funny guy!
“Ohh. Clyde, why don’t you say hi to our family and introduce yourself as my sisters’ lover???” I teased him.
“CASSANDRA!!! Why don’t you two lovers just shut up?!” she looked at me with so much contempt. She’s mad!!! Hahaha! I hit it with the “lover” part and now she’s throwing it at me.
But I never expect that there’s someone who just came over and heard that “lover” word.
I’m completely going insane! Such a bad day!
“Two lovers? Sino, Chesca?” Andrei asked, with all seriousness.
“Oh. Andrei, I didn’t know you’re here. Anyway, meet my boyfriend.. Clyde. And his brother, Chris – Sandy’s lover boy!” She’s back-fighting me! I’m so lost!!!
“You two, stop it!” saway ni Clyde. He knows Andrei, and he can smell fight when he see one. “Nice to meet you, Andrei..” and gave out his hands, “By the way, that’s my brother besides Sophia. And they are not lovers.” I love him already!
“Hey, we are lovers! Are we NOT, babe?” suck him!!! he’s making it worst! I can feel that Andrei’s ready to boil down. But come to think of it, he has Tina already. So, bakit nga ba ako matatakot na malaman niyang may lover ako?
“Yeah, we are. So, just shut up and kiss me!” I grabbed Chris, to his surprise, and kissed him! For pete’s sake, I am losing my mind! alam ko, this is the beginning of a war. Hindi pa niya nakikita si Pia, at mas grabe pa ang mangyayari pag nakita na niya. I’m just too glad I brought Chris with me.
I ended the kiss after a minute, and everyone was shocked, even Chris. “Hello, big bear! nice to see you after two long years.” I looked at him intently, go near him and kissed him sa cheeks. I know, I’m making things worst.
“Yes… two long years since you left me hanging. Are you happy now, Cassandra? Have you reached your selfish dreams already that’s why you finally came back? And with a lover by your side, huh? If I only knew that you’ll find a new partner so easily, I could have not told you those silly things I told you before. And I’m glad, VERY GLAD that you left. No need to marry you after what happened to us. By the way, did you tell your lover that I was your first?” What he said shocked the hell out of me. I never thought I could feel so much pain seeing him again. And right now, I’m breaking down, I can’t stop it.
Before I knew it, Chris threw a hard punch to Andrei already. My brother was also furious, good thing that Clyde is calmer than all of them. I thank him for staying calm for me.
