Long ago, in a small town called Asteaia, a baby different from any other was born. Discarded by his mother and shunned by the town he lived in, the boy grew up in misery, darkness and pain. One day, the boy runs into the dark and mysterious forest which surrounds one side of his town and life as he knows it changes, forever.

Welcome to Into Darkness. This is a story I wrote about eight years ago, and never fully cleaned up. I've kept it up here because many of you enjoyed it, and I feel a bit guilty taking it down. it's still up for anyone who would like to read it, and I'll try as I get time to edit. The years have slipped away from me as I've gotten older, but I hope you'll still enjoy this work for the time capsule that it is.
As a fair warning, this book is undergoing some vigorous editing. Parts of this story have not been touched in seven+ years, and there will be some major plot holes until I have managed to edit the entire story. The middle of this story is largely unedited, and contains spelling & grammar mistakes. I apologize for the mishmash state the story is in, and will try and work towards editing & improving it.
