Chapter Twenty-Two

*next day*

~Alex's POV~

I was in Shawn's kitchen making a sandwich singing quietly to myself. I thought everyone was in the family room, I guess not.

"Alex, you have a really pretty voice!" I heard Aaliyah's voice chirp.

"Why, thank ya girly!" I said turning around to face her. I put a tiny bit of peanut butter on her nose. In all honesty, we've grown close in the last few days.

"You seem a lot happier this week than you did last week!" Aaliyah said wiping the peanut butter off her nose.

"Oh yeah?" I questioned.

"Yup!" She said popping the 'P'. I smiled and turned back around. I soon felt arms wrap around my waist. Mmm, Shawn.

"Good morning love!" He said to me showering my neck with kisses.

"Morning!" I said kissing his chin.

"Whatcha makin'?" He asked.

"Grilled PB&J, do ya want one?" I asked.

"I've never had one, but sure!" He said. I looked at him like he was crazy.

"You've never had grilled PB&J!? Who are you?" I asked jokingly.

"Well, my name is Shawn Peter Raul Mendes, and I'm the love of your life. I'm a tad bit crazy and I'm really awkward!" He said.

"Oh, well you sound amazing!" I said kissing his soft lips.

"PDA IS GROSS!" We heard Aaliyah yell. I giggled and grabbed a plate and put it in front of Aaliyah then put the PB&J on the plate.

Soon after that, I finished Shawns and then mine. He devoured the sandwich.

"Hungry much?" I teased.

"That was so amazing!" He said licking his fingers. "My new fave. You'll have to make these for me 5ever!"

"Okey baby, will do!" I said grabbing his shirt and pulling him closer until his soft lips connected to mine. I don't think I could go a day without kissing Shawn. I smiled through the kiss.

"I love you so much baby," he said resting his forehead against mine. We sat there for a minute until he said, "So, uhm, I was wondering if maybe you would want to come with me to Magcon in DC next week? All the guys miss you, and I don't think I can live without you, you've becom-" I interrupted him by kissing him, because first off, of course I want to go to Magcon again! And second, because if I didn't, he would have kept on rambling.

"Of course!" I said after we pulled away from the kiss.

~Shawn's POV~

I finally asked Alex if she wanted to join me for Magcon again. It feels like a weight lifted off my shoulders. Alex and I were cuddling in bed. It was a long day... of doing nothing.

"I'm gonna start doing online school," Alex said into my chest.

"Why?" I asked.

"I don't want to deal with bullying, and plus, if I do online school, I can always be with you," she said looking up at me.

"Oh, gotcha," I said. "Alex, I think we need to get you some girl-friends."

"Nope!" She said.

"But we do," I said.

"I don't need girl-friends when I have you, Nash, Carter, Matt, Gilisky, Jack, Hayes, Aaron, Taylor and Bailey. The only other female I like doesn't even live anywhere near here or near my hometown!" She said. She did have a point.

"But don't you like, need girls?" I asked awkwardly.

"Nope!" She said popping the 'p'

"Well, good! I didn't want to give up our time anyways!" I said kissing the top of her head.

We just laid there, not talking, not doing anything. It was comfortable and silent.

"Shawn?" Her sleepy voice whispered.

"Yes, love?" I asked moving hair out of her face.

"Promise me you'll never leave me," she said with her eyes closing.

"I promise baby girl," I said. She nodded her head and fell asleep.

I watched her sleep for a little while and then I fell asleep. That was an amazing way to end an amazingly boring day.

*early next morning*

I woke up early the next morning, because I'm going to make breakfast for everyone. Mainly for Alex though. I put on a pair of my black sweatpants and my Six Flags cutoff tank.

I walked quietly down the stairs, only to find whispering. I peaked my head around the corner and saw Aaliyah and my mom making breakfast.

"Hey get back upstairs!" My mom whisper-yelled jumping in front of Aaliyah. I threw my hands up in surrender and walked slowly back upstairs.

I got back upstairs and woke Alex up.

"Hey baby girl! Happy two month!" I said kissing her cheek.

"Morning handsome!" She said and kissed my lips.

"Mum and Aaliyah are making breakfast for us!" I said.

"Yum! What is it, do you know?" She asked.

"Nope!" I said. She giggled.

Alex and I talked for awhile before someone knocked on the door, my mom of course.

"Come in!" Alex said. My mom and Aaliyah appeared and Aaliyah was carrying a tray. It had two glasses of orange juice, a plate with a whole bunch of pancakes and bacon, also on the tray was maple syrup. "Thank you guys so much!"

"Yup! I made it all!" Aaliyah said.

"Alright, happy two month guys!" Mom said. "Alright c'mon sweetie let's leave these two alone!"

"Wow, this is really good!" I said. Alex nodded.

We finished eating and got out of bed, and got ready for the day ahead.
