~Alex's POV~

After we got done at the little diner, he took me to this snugly, medium sized, two story cabin that sits right next to a pond/lake thing. It was so cute, how he did this for me, for us. I hadn't realized I was sitting there in awe, until Shawn snapped me out of it.

"Hellooo? Alex?" He said.

"Oh, uh, sorry. It's gorgeous here!" I laughed.

"I think I like it too. And it is gorgeous, but not as gorgeous as you," he winked, then laughed a bit.

"You're a goofball," I said, giggling.

"Well are we gonna get out, or are we just gonna stare at it?" He laughed slightly.

"I mean, I guess we can go, if you really want to," I said, sarcastically.

"Come on beautiful," he said opening his door. He quickly ran over to my side and opened my door for me.

"What are we gonna be doing here?" I asked.

"Well, they have electricity here, so I was planning on watching movies, is that okay?" He asked.

"Okay! I'm fine with that, are we staying here?" I asked as we approached the front door.

"I was planning on it?" He said, but it came out as more of a question.

"What about my mom, though?" I asked as he unlocked and opened the door, I then sat down at the table. I thought this was gonna be kind of run down, but as it turns out, it was just remodeled. The floors were just redone, they were a nice red cedar, and the walls were a dark brown, but they weren't flat, they were logs. I guess I could've assumed that it was gonna be nice because they have electricity.

"Oh, uh, I talked to her and told her that you would be staying the night, and uhm, yeah," he said nervously scratching the back of his neck.

"Awe! You talked to my mom? That's cute, I'm loving your confidence!" I said getting up from my spot at the table to hug him.

"Yeah, yeah," he said rolling his eyes.

"You're so cute," I said.

"Nah, that's you," he said, kissing the top of my head. We stood there for awhile, just hugging. "Well, do you want me to show you around?"

"Yeah, sure," I said smiling at him. He smiled and took my hand and interlaced our fingers. He led me to a staircase, and we walked upstairs. It was all a huge loft, but it was more like one huge bed. Across from the bed was a huge flat screen tv. "Woah."

"I know right? My friends family owns this place," he said. "Obviously this is where we're gonna be sleeping," he said sheepishly. "Unless you, uh, ya know, don't want to sleep together."

"Don't be silly, we're working things out," I smiled at him, a wave of relief washed across his face. He nodded and pulled me out on to a balcony. It was overlooking the lake/pond thing. The balcony was huge, it looked like it wrapped all the way around the cabin, it had a few lawn chairs, but other than that, nothing else was on the porch. I looked up at the sky. "It's inevitable, ya know," I said looking at the stars still.

"What's inevitable?" He asked.

"Loving you, Shawn. You are inevitable to me. Every small detail about you is inevitable," I said, not taking my eyes from the night sky.

~Shawn's POV~

"Inevitable, eh?" I repeated. "And my love for you is inevitable, too," I said. A sudden swarm of butterflies erupted in my stomach. I love Alex. Always have. Always will. She turned and walked up to me. She kissed the corner of my mouth, she then turned around and sat on the ground of the balcony, pushing her legs through the bars, and resting her head on them looking out onto the lake. "What's going on in that pretty little mind of yours, baby?"
