Chia-jung's POV

A couple of weeks have past since anything has happened to me and it is time for Katara and Kya to leave. They spent the last couple of days trying to convince me to leave with them, but
"Are you sure you dont want to come with me?" Kya asked as she gave me a hug.

"Yea, I think Korra needs someone her age to keep her sane while she is training."

Kya looked like she was leaving behind a child or something which made me smile even more, because right now she is the closest thing to a mom I have. These past few weeks she has helped me and took care of me.

"I think she could use it." Kya began to laugh like she was trying to lighten the mood. "Hey I got you something." She showed me a water tribe charm that was on a pure white ribbon that was to be worn like a bracelet. "Its to have the spirits watch over you and provide you with guidance."

"Thank you!" I said as I took the bracelet from her. "Be safe on your way back." I gave her another hug before Katara came over and hugged me.

"Even if you don't remember much about me you are still a close friend of mine you are welcome to stay with us any time. I hope you gain your memories back some day and please be safe. Don't go getting yourself hurt."

"I will visit some time." After a few more hugs being exchanged they boarded their boat and left.

"Hey do you want to hang out with Mako and Bolin with me?" Korra asked as she started to quickly walk away from Tenzin like she was hoping he wouldn't ask her to practice trying to air bend.

"Sure. Is Pabu going to be there too?" I asked as I put the bracelet around my wrist.

"More than likely he practically never leaves Bolin's side." Korra laughed.

It didn't take long for us to get to the pro-bending arena, and of course they all practiced their bending and I played with Pabu by making a small frog out of paper and attached it to a sting. It was fun to watch him chase the frog just for me to pull the string and make him run even more. Naga seemed just entertained watching Pabu run around too.

"Hey I'm going to go on a snack run do you want anything?" Mako asked as he walked over to me.

"Sure."

"What do you want?" He asked as he adjusted his scarf.

"I don't know. Can I come with you?" I asked as I stood up.

"Sure," he  shrugged his shoulders before he started to walk away.

I quickly followed after him. We didn't talk while we walked. Mako kept glaring like something was on his mind. Well that was until he bumped into some one.

At first I didn't recognize the person but after she looked up I saw it was the girl I met on the street a while back.

"Well who'd have thought. Chia-jung how are you doing?"

"Hey Kali." I felt my face redden up a bit when I realized I had been starring. "I've been doing better. I know the city a bit more but still not very well."

"I didnt realize you and Mako were acquainted." She pointed to him and he seemed a bit uncomfortable. "Are you two on a date?"

"No!" I quickly stated. "We were hanging out with his brother and Korra. He wanted to get snacks so I came with him." I said as I chuckled. Why am I even explaining this to her? I stopped chuckling and looked over to Mako who now looked more uncomfortable.

"Ahh."

"How do you two know each other?" I couldn't help but ask.

"It doesn't really matter. Do you want a snack or do you want to keep talking to her?" He seemed like his pants were about to catch on fire any second.

"You can go on ahead if you want," I said as my eyes made their way back to Kali. Mako hesitated for a minutes before he decided to walk on with out me.

"I'm guessing you want to know?" She raised her eyebrow and smirked at me.

"Well actually I want to talk to you."

"Mako and I use to have a thing.  I tried being friends with him after I cut it off but he is a complicated person, and he just couldn't handle it." She looked around and I realized Mako was no longer in sight. "I didn't expect him to just up and leave you."

"Neither did I. Oh well I guess." I shrugged my shoulders as I spoke.

"Well since you are alone would you like to join me to an underground fight night?" She held her hand out to me.

I starred at her hand for a second before I decided what I was going to do.

"Sure it sounds like fun."

"Oh, it is a lot of fun." She stated as she began to drag me through the streets.

We eventually arrived at a darkened alleys and she looked cautiously around before dragging me down the alley to a huge door. She knocked the door five times in a weird rhythm before a really muscular man opened the door.

"How many eyes does a badger mole have?" The man flared down at us like if we answered wrong he would hurt us.

"Two. The eye of birth and the eye of earth." She stood proudly in the door way before the man stepped aside and let us both walk in.

"I'm guessing you come here often?"

"Yea. I've participated in a few fights." She shrugged her shoulders before placing one hand in her pocket and grabbing my hand again and beginning to walk.

We began to walk down a long flight of stairs. And I mean long it took us almost 30 minutes just to reach the bottom of the stairs.

"Everyone The Earthquake Queen herself has entered the building." An announcer yelled as a bright light began to shine down on us.

"A few fights?" I asked and she blushed slightly.

"Ok so maybe its a bit  more than a few." She laughed before she took me to some good seats. They were close the the ring but just out of the area that looks like it is the danger zone during fights.

"So your name here is The Earthquake Queen?"

"Yea. I haven't really been doing many fights lately. Everyone has gotten a bit boring fighting all the same people. I occasionally fight when there is a new person or if someone challenges me or something."

"Sounds fun." I sighed as I sat down on the bench. "I kinda wish I could bend."

"You can still kick ass without being a bender." She smiled as she sat next to me.
