"Daddy! You're making them too tight!" Laurie yelled. I was putting her hair into braids.

"Sorry, pumpkin... There, is that better?"

"Yes.." I was getting ready to go on stage. She always wants to look good for the crew. She usually sits with our tour manager, listening to the music.

People ask why I bring Laurie with me on tour. I don't like leaving her behind. And she's a good kid, she doesn't get into much trouble. She also loves to travel. I hired a teacher that comes on the road with us and stays at home to teach Lauren. Yes, she's homeschooled. I just don't want people at school trying to be her friend just to get to me. She's smart, she doesn't need a real school.

We're about to on stage and I look back at Laurie. She smiles and jumps in her seat. Laurie loves watching me play. Her favorite song is Mad As Rabbits, so Ryan and I to make sure it's on the song list.

At every end of the concert, Laurie runs onto stage for me to pick her up. The crowd usually loves her.

Ryan came up to her and kissed her cheek. He's been another huge father figure to Lauren. Most people in the crowd were screaming 'Ryden'. If Lauren had a choice on who I would date, she'd pick Ryan.

"Uncle Ry? Can I sleep with you in your bunk tonight?" Laurie asked. Ryan looked at me for approval, which I obviously said yes to.

"Of course, sweetie." She let go of my neck and jumped down. She skipped over to Spencer who was still at his drums. She kissed his cheek the ran over to Jon. She plucked one of his strings, and ran back to me and Ryan.

I picked Laurie back up as we all walked off of stage. After about thirty minutes, we got back onto the tour bus. Laurie already had her pillow and her stuffed Bunny, Flop, in Ryan's bunk.

"A little egar to have a sleepover with me, huh?" Ryan said to Laurie.

"Of course! Flop is, too!" I smiled. Flop was a gift from my mom, and has a small bottle of Vegas sand inside, so she will never feel home sick. It works, she does miss home but never cried over it.

"Hey, Lauren. I have a surprise for you!" Spencer said as he ran to the front of the bus. He cane back in with a ukulele. Once it was handed to her, she came to me and showed it to me. "Now you got to promise me something. You will take care of that and learn how to play that, okay?"

"Thank you, Spencer! I will!" I looked over at Spencer and smiled at him.

The guys spoil Lauren. Never too much, though. Only when she's been good.

9:30 came around, and I saw Laurie rubbing her eyes.

"Are you tired, sweatpea?" She nodded. I grabbed her hand and brought her to the bathroom, helping her into her Hello Kitty pajamas. The door opened, and she got into Ryan's bunk. I sat on the ground and held her elbow.

"I love you, Daddy."

"I love you, too. Now, Ryan will be in a little bit, but you need some rest, tomorrow's another show!" She smiled. I kissed her forehead and rubbed it into her skin.

"Good night, Daddy." I kissed her forehead again.

"Good night, baby girl. Sleep tight, and don't let the bed bugs bite!"
