"Ring the bell!" The doctor said excitedly. Laurie just was declared cancer free, and she couldn't be happier. Once she rung it, everyone clapped. Laurie ran to me and hugged me.

"My little warrior!"

"Dad.. I'm the same height as you, technically we're both little!" She said as she laughed.

"So, you still happy that you didn't lose all of your hair?" I asked as we started to leave.

"Oh my god, yes! I don't know what I would have done without my perfect hair!"

"I like the red hair on you, it does suit you, with the freckles and all." Lauren turned to me and smiled.

"I do cover them up sometimes, sometimes they're my worst enemy!"

"At least you don't wear lots of makeup. Just enough to look your age!" Laurie smiled.

"I'm just happy this hell I'd finally over."

"So am I. I hate seeing you in pain, especially when I can't do anything about it." I looked at Lauren, seeing her smile makes me happy. "How about we go to that makeup store you like! Get a new lipstick or something!"

"Sephora? Yes please!" We get into the car and pull out of the hospital parking lot. We start heading to the mall, where Sephora is. "So, what's my price range?"

"Nothing over 50."

"Yes! I can get the lipstick I've been eying up for months!" We get to the mall and she pulls me into the store. Kat Von D, her favorite. She picks out this nude lip gloss, and we go into line to pay.

"That's going to look really nice on you!" I say, making Laurie smile.

"I know!" Once it was paid for, we ended up in the food court. "I have a question for you, dad."

"Okay, what?"

"Is Sarah pregnant?" I basically choked on my food.

"What? No!"

"Are you sure?"

"Yes! Eat your food, you little rascal!"
