"Caramel!" Aurora shrieks, throwing herself into the girl's lap once she finds her on the couch. "Have I ever told you about the time I got kicked out of a One Direction concert?"
"No," she laughs. "But, I have a feeling you're about to."
"It wasn't even my fault," the girl rambles, remaining in Carmen's lap. "I was never told I couldn't stand onstage, or that I couldn't tackle Niall. Any who, long story short, I may or may not he the reason their bodyguards needed bodyguards."
"I remember seeing that story on the news," Carmen muses. "What brought this up?"
"Well," Aurora begins, giving her best friend the most innocent smile she could muster. "I was thinking about how you've never been to a concert, and I came up with a plan."
The boys had been on tour for nearly a month now, leaving their girlfriends - or fiance, in Jonah's case - home alone.
Callie is using her time apart from Jack to visit Alex in London. Addilyn flew out to her brother's military base to surprise him. Adrian went on a trip to New York with her father. Which left Aurora and Carmen at home to plan the wedding. . . It's a miracle their house is still standing.
"We're not kidnapping the members of One Direction," Carmen reprimands. "Your wedding will not be held in a jail cell."
"That's not what I was going to say," she gasps, feigning innocence. "How dare you think so lowly of me?"
"I'm sorry," the younger girl chuckles. "What's your plan?"
Aurora doesn't answer, crossing her arms and pouting instead.
"I'll buy you Cheez-its if you tell me."
"Okay," Aurora complies happily, pulling two small slips of paper out of her back pocket. "My plan is to surprise our boys!"
Carmen takes the papers out of her hands, examining the two tickets to a Why Don't We concert in disbelief.
"It's only four hours away so, if we leave within the next five minutes, we'll make it in time to get a decent spot in line."

"There's too many people here," Aurora mutters to Carmen. "This world needs a new plague."
Carmen giggles nervously, shuffling closer to the older girl in order to avoid being jostled by the crowd of fan girls surrounding them.
Since Aurora had managed to snag two VIP tickets, the two had decided to make their arrival an even bigger surprise by wearing disguises for when the boys would 'meet' them during the Meet and Greet. Both were wearing wigs and just enough makeup to slightly alter their looks to the point where, at first glance, they'd appear to be just another couple of fans.
Aurora readjusts her bleach blonde wig, eavesdropping on a few of the girls behind them when she hears her name.
". . . Aurora, Carmen, Callie, Addilyn, and Adrian," one fan is explaining.
"Which one is with Zach?" A different one asks, her haughty tone reminding Aurora of the one her mother had often used.
"Carmen."
Carmen stiffens involuntarily, unsure of what the snooty sounding girl would have to say about her being with Zach.
The fan sighs in disgust, bringing Aurora's blood to boil. "She's probably only with him for the attention."
"I'm sorry," Aurora wheels around, pointing a finger at the girl menacingly. "But, who the fuck gave you the right to say something like that? I know for a damn fact that you have never met the pure ray of sunshine that is Carmen Elliot because, if you had, you wouldn't be saying that bullshit."
"How-"
"And from what I've heard," her rant continues, cutting off the fan's protests. "You didn't even know she existed until a few seconds ago. If it wasn't for my desire to not get kicked out of here, I would've already knocked your ass back to whoreville. Now, good day to you, bitch."
Aurora turns back around, grinning triumphantly as the girl behind her is left in stunned silence. She links her arm through Carmen's, practically dragging her along as she skips inside as the doors begin to open.
Both, Aurora and Carmen, forget about the incident from moments prior as their gazes fall on the boys.
Aurora's heart skips a beat as she sees Jonah's perfect smile, one she hadn't seen in what felt like forever. She starts to tap her foot, immediately growing impatient and wanting nothing more than to be held in his warm embrace. Next to her, Carmen is nearly bouncing up and down in her excitement.
Each fan seems to stand with the boys for hours when, in reality, each one only takes a few minutes before being shooed along by Eben.
Aurora sprints ahead as Eben guides the last fan in front of them away from the boys, throwing herself into Daniel's arms, who's first in line. She can't hear what he says to her due to the fan's constant chatter and, before he's able to repeat himself, she's already launching herself into Corbyn's arms.
"I know it's you, Aurora," the blond chuckles, squeezing her tightly. "I heard you nearly fight one of the fans over Carmen."
"What can I say?" She smiles sheepishly. "I missed you guys."
"Even Jack?" Corbyn raises an eyebrow.
"Yeah," Aurora admits somewhat begrudgingly before he can nudge her closer to Jonah. "Even the Cheez-its stealing Poodle."
Quite literally jumping into Jonah's warm embrace, she shoots an indiscreet wink in Corbyn's direction, who barely sees if before he's hugging Carmen.
As Aurora pulls away, Jonah's attention is caught by the light reflecting off of a certain diamond and his gaze falls to her left hand.
Her thoughts wander to Eben, briefly wondering why he hadn't shooed her along yet like the rest of the fans, before remembering Carmen had called earlier to inform him of their plan.
"Do you like my ring?" She holds her hand up as her voice rises an octave, admiring it as well. "My fiancée gave it to me."
"Aren't you a little young to be engaged?" Jonah questions dubiously.
"Aren't you?" Aurora shoots back. "I heard you proposed to Aurora."
"Touché," he concedes, grinning goofily at the mention of his fiancée. He doesn't even bother to question how this girl knew about it, their fans had a crazy way of gaining information weeks before they even released it.
"Where is she, anyway," Aurora presses, trying to hide her ever growing smirk. "I'd love to get a picture with her."
"She's probably burning the house down with her firework bombs as we speak."
"I admire your faith in me," she scowls. Before Jonah can fully register what's happening, Aurora yanks the wig off, being sure to throw it towards the fan who had the audacity to disrespect Carmen. "Surprise, motherfuckers!"
