A/N: I have decided that I will do some alternate universes because no matter what universe Jonah and Aurora are in, they're destined to be together.

"Miss Daniels! Mr. Woods!" Principal Steve Crase reprimands as he turns the corner with a stranger by his side. "The two of you are supposed to be in class! And where did the Dairy Queen food come from?"

"I can't legally answer that question," Aurora claims, taking a bite out of her Oreo blizzard.

"But," Mark cuts in, waving the brown bag in a taunting manner. "We're willing to share if you forget all about this."

"Get to class, Woods," the principal snaps, looking unamused.

"I'm going, I'm going," he mutters, giving Aurora a hug before rounding the corner at a leisurely pace.

"As for you, Miss Daniels," She smiles up him innocently as he continues. "I need you to take our new student to his class, which just so happen to be the one that you're supposed to be in right now."

Aurora glances at the stranger, studying him in a not so subtle manner. The boy had messy brown hair and matching chocolate brown eyes. She can't help but to notice the dimple in his right cheek that appears as he flashes her a nervous, but perfectly whitened, grin. He definitely gave off the goody two shoes vibe that she instantly became determined to corrupt.

"Will do," she snaps into a mock salute with the arm not holding any food. "Let's go, newbie."

She twirls around, practically skipping down the hallway as the new student follows.

"And no detours!" Principal Crase calls after them.

"So, newbie," Aurora begins through a mouthful of ice cream. "What's your name?"

"Jonah."

"I'm Aurora," she holds her hand out, shaking his hand with a little too much enthusiasm. "And, whether you like it or not, we just became friends.

"Good to know," he chuckles, running a hand through his hair.

He can't help but marvel at the extremely blunt and straightforward girl in front of him. All of the girls at his old school had always been so much quieter and, for the most part, more reserved with their thoughts. But, Aurora seemed to say whatever came to mind.

"So, Jonah, where are you from?" Aurora asks nosily. "And what brings you to this hellhole here in LA?"

"I'm from Minnesota," he answers, his 'first day' nerves slowly disappearing the more he talked to her. "And I'm here now because the company that my dad works for transferred him here."

She nods, processing it all before coming to a halt outside one of the many classroom doors.

"You have arrived at your destination," She bows dramatically.

"Isn't it your destination too?" He raises an eyebrow, reaching for the doorknob.

"Technically, yes," Aurora admits, smirking mischievously. "However, Mr. Coles and I have an agreement that as long as I turn in all of the assignments on time, I don't have to show up to his class."

A silence pases between the two as  Jonah's hand lingers on the knob, not yet wanting to leave the girl's presence.

"But," she tacks on. "If you're lucky, I'll be waiting out here for you when the bell rings to walk you to your next class."

Jonah grins, bidding her goodbye before finally tugging open the door. Before it can shut behind him, Aurora slips her number into the pocket of his backpack.

She waves at him through the small window before prancing off to find Mark.

"Guess I got lucky," Jonah grins, his face lighting up as he greets the girl upon exiting the classroom twenty minutes later.

"I guess so," Aurora smiles, latching her hand onto his arm so they don't get separated in the crowded hallways. "Did you make any friends while I was gone?"

"I met someone named Jack," he answers. "Do you know him?"

"Yeah," she rolls her eyes. "I'm his Cheez-its dealer. I've got some people in your next class that I could introduce you to, if you'd like."

"How do you know what my next class is?" The boy furrows his eyebrows together. "I'm pretty sure they don't just give out copies if other students' schedules here."

"Don't concern yourself with it," Aurora winks. "On a completely unrelated topic, if I were to get arrested some time soon, would you be okay with being my one phone call?"

Jonah chuckles, already utterly endeared by her wild nature. "You're just full of surprises, aren't you?"

"You'll have to stick around to find out."
