"Someday, this could be, this could be ordinary!" Aurora sings into her spoon dramatically, twirling with Carmen around the kitchen as she does so. "Someday, could we be something extraordinary?"

"You and me, side by side," Carmen giggles, singing along. "Out in the broad daylight."

"How are you not tired of this song?" Jack groans, watching the two girls bewilderedly. "You've played it on repeat for three days!"

"I'll have you know, Mr. Avery," Aurora huffs, pausing the music on her phone. "That the movie has only been out for two days, so technically, it's only been on repeat for two days."

The latest Disney Channel movie, Zombies, had came out a couple of days ago and, of course, Carmen instantly fell in love with it. Less than an hour later, she had gotten Aurora addicted to it as well.

"You're only cranky because you don't want to admit it's a great song," the brunette continues after taking a sip of her coffee. "I'd like to see you write a better song than that."

"I have," Jack argues indignantly, glancing around the kitchen for support. "I've helped write at least twenty songs better than whatever new thing Disney has came up with."

"Don't disrespect Disney Channel like that," Callie gasps, smacking his arm lightly.

"But," Zach interjects - after making sure Carmen is in between him and Aurora - "our songs are pretty good."

"But your choreography is shitty compared to Disney's," Aurora retorts. "That automatically knocks off a few points."

"That's enough arguing for today," Jonah states through a yawn. "It's way too early to start a fight and I highly doubt Jack wants another black eye."

"Maybe he does," Aurora says, placing her hands on her hips sassily. "You don't know his life."

"No, Jonah is right," Jack quickly agrees before backing out of the kitchen. "If anyone needs me, I'll be in whatever room Aurora doesn't occupy."

"I vote for a shopping day," Aurora mentions casually, completely changing the topic as she jumps up to sit on the counter. "Don't you agree, Caramel?"

"Why is there such a long line?" Carmen questions, standing on the tips of her toes in an attempt to see the front doors of Barnes and Noble. "It's never this crowded."

Corbyn, Aurora, and Carmen currently stand in the midst of a huge line outside of the girls' favorite book store, and have been standing there for what felt like hours. In reality, it had only been thirty minutes but the unusually hot spring weather wasn't helping anything.

Jonah, Addilyn, and Zach were with the small group as well, but they opted to spend time shopping at Walmart after one look at the line.

"Thomas fucking Sangster best be doing damn meet and greets," Aurora complains, dropping to sit on the pavement dramatically. "I'm going to be pissed if he's not the one causing this wait."

"I'll be right back," Corbyn informs the two before walking off. "Try not to die while I'm gone."

The blond is disappearing around the corner before either of the girls can get a word out.

"I wonder what he's up to," Carmen mutters, mostly to herself as she sits down next to her friend.

Aurora doesn't answer, instead throwing her head back against the store wall theatrically with a loud groan.

"Fuckity fuck fuck fuck," Aurora shouts in a sing-song tone. "Fuuuuuuck!"

In front of them, a mother pulls her little boy closer before turning around and glaring at the two girls.

"You should really watch your language when kids are around," she reprimands, glancing at her son pointedly. "It's incredibly rude."

"Fuck, sorry!" Aurora apologizes, flashing her a grin.

"You're terrible," Carmen mutters, failing to hide her amusement as the woman turns back around. "Absolutely terrible."

"But you love me," the brunette hums, resting her head on Carmen's shoulder as Corbyn bounds back into view.

"I am officially the greatest friend ever," he declares with a triumphant grin, squatting down to their eye level. "We don't have to wait in this long line."

"What are you on, Blondie?" Aurora groans, desperate for a nap.

"There's a back entrance," he continues in a hushed tone, dragging both girls to their feet. "And it's conveniently unlocked."

"Then, what are we waiting for?" Aurora instantly perks up, jumping onto Corbyn's back. "Lead the way, my noble blond!"

Readjusting Aurora so she won't fall, Corbyn hurries around the side of the building once again with Carmen by his side.

"TADA!" He gestures proudly - with the arm not supporting Aurora's weight - to a dingy and rusted door behind Barnes and Noble.

"Nice work, Sherlock," Aurora grins, jumping down as Carmen touches the handle.

Before the younger teen can pull on the door, a force behind it jerks it forward, knocking her down.

"Way to go dipshit! You broke my Caramel," Aurora growls, helping her best friend up as her gaze locks on the one responsible. "Holy shit, you're Milo Manheim!"

"The one and only," he flashes the small group a smile before stepping toward Carmen worriedly. "Are you okay? I am-"

"Hey, back up!" Aurora snarls, poking a finger into his chest. "You may be pretty but that doesn't mean you get to touch."

"Sorry," Milo holds his hands up defensively, taking a step back. "I just want to see if she's okay."

"I'm fine," Carmen reassures him with a soft smile, ignoring the newfound bruise on her head.

"Could I make it up to you by buying you lunch?" Milo offers, appearing relieved.

"Absolutely!" Aurora squeals, her defensive stance completely disappearing. "Ooh, I can't wait to tell Heroin!"
