"It's time!" Carmen, the maid of honor, squeals, dragging Aurora over to the closed wooden church doors where Corbyn stands waiting for the two, clad in a suit.
"I should've expected this, to be honest," the blond can't help but laugh at the sight of the two. "Do Jonah and Zach know about this dress code?"
"Nope,"Carmen grins broadly, tugging at the hem of her Jack Skellington pyjamas.
"It's a surprise," Aurora adds. However, she wasn't in pyjamas like Carmen. The girl is decked out in Maverick merch - which included joggers, a shirt, one of the blue and gray hoodies, and the infamous socks.
Music begins to play from the next room over, immediately causing her nerves to spike. She reaches for a strand of hair in an attempt to twirl it but Carmen swats it away before she can.
Corbyn chuckles to himself, noticing how the couple's roles seem to be reversed today. Aurora was nothing but a bundle of nerves while Jonah, when he had checked in on the groom earlier, was calm and collected, completely confident in how today would turn out. However, no one could miss the sparks of pure joy and love both of their eyes held.
"Don't mess with your hair, it's perfect," she chastises, pulling her into a quick hug. "Now, I'm going to go take my place at the front, you and Corbyn are going to follow, and your anxiety will disappear. Because you're marrying the love of your life."
Aurora nods, tugging her best friend into another hug. "Thank you, Caramel."
"It's what I'm here for." Shooting her a reassuring smile, Carmen disappears behind the door.
"Are you ready?" Corbyn questions, holding his arm out for her to take. "If you're having second thoughts, we can ditch and go to Canada."
"Tempting," she giggles, looping her arm through his and readjusting her bouquet. "But, I'm ready."
The doors swing forward slowly as the guests all stand. Outside of their usual group, who all sat in the front row, the crowd consists of James, Mark's parents, Brendan - who's holding Kong - and Jonah's family, a lot of whom Aurora had yet to meet.
Aurora's nerves disappear completely as her gaze lands on Jonah, standing in a suit at the head of the altar. Zach grins boyishly, nudging Jonah, who smiles dazedly at the beautiful girl.
"See?" Corbyn whispers, guiding her forward. "Nothing to be nervous about."
She merely nods, for once at a loss for words. After living in an unloving and rather verbally abusive household for sixteen years of her life, Aurora, although she never admitted it out loud, had thoroughly believed the problem had been that she was simply unlovable.
Yet less than three years later, she had found a group of people whom she considered siblings and loved her unconditionally. And she was being walked down the aisle by one of those people towards a boy she wanted to spend the rest of her life with.
Reaching the altar, Corbyn fixes Jonah with a stern look as Aurora hands her flowers over to Carmen.
"Is this the part where you threaten to kill me if I ever hurt her?" Jonah asks, his gaze not straying from his soulmate standing in front of him, looking nothing short of perfectly breathtaking.
"Nope," the teen states, placing a chaste kiss on Aurora's forehead before patting Jonah on the shoulder. "If you ever hurt her, she's more than capable of killing you herself. But, if the time ever comes, I would help her hide the body."
With that being said, the blond steps back to take his seat between Addilyn and Daniel.
"Alright, let's do this," Logan claps his hands together, his voice booming throughout the church as he clears his throat dramatically. "Dearly beloved - and the guy on the side of the road who told me I had nice hair, we are gathered here today to-"
"So," Jonah murmurs to Aurora as Logan continues his speech. "What are you hiding in your hoodie pocket?"
"That depends," she whispers back. "Would it be a deal breaker if there is something in it?"
"Nothing," he mutters, kissing her hand, "could ever make me stop loving you."
"Good," Aurora grins wickedly, quickly pulling a handful of Cheez-its out of her pocket and stuffing them in her mouth. "Because I'm never going to stop loving you."

"I, Jonah Marais, take you, Aurora Daniels, to be my wife to have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, for sickness and in health, to love and to cherish until we are parted by death," Jonah promises, sliding the ring onto her finger with ease.
"I, Aurora Daniels, take you, Jonah Marais, to be my husband to have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, for sickness and in health, to love and to cherish until we are parted by death," Aurora guarantees, sliding the ring onto his finger with a million watt smile.
"By the power vested in me, and by the power of the Logang," Logan declares. Kong barks loudly from the crowd. "And with the blessing of Kong, I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride."
Jonah tugs his wife closer, smiling so broadly his cheeks were starting to hurt. But the small amount of pain was worth it to have the love of his life, his soulmate, standing in front of him, looking equally excited.
Aurora's smile doesn't fade as she leans into her husband's warm embrace, for once not arguing with him about the fact that she has to stand on her tiptoes to reach him.
Just as their lips are about to meet, Aurora jerks back, pulling a can out of her hoodie pocket. A loud siren echoes throughout the church as she presses the button on the airhorn, blowing it in Jonah's face.
He jumps away in surprise, nearly stumbling off of the altar step. Regaining his balance he can't help but chuckle, thrilled to be able to spend the rest of his life with the reckless girl standing in front of him, laughing her head off.
"I love you so much, Aurora Marais," he states, pulling her to him as their lips meet for their first kiss as a married couple.
"I love you more, Jonah Marais."
