AU in which Aurora was in a car crash that caused severe memory loss. The first half of this au is in hdnprplflwrs story, Loofahs, in the chapter titled "oh memories, where'd you go", so definitely go check that out before reading this!
And for even more adorable Jonah and Aurora content, go read her new story titled No Time To Lie! It's even better than Endless :)

Aurora sits on the loveseat, a blanket wrapped around her body as she struggles to wake up, not even bothering to hide the fact that she's watching Jonah as he sleeps on the couch opposite of her. With all of their roommates either off to class or working on a new song, they're the only two in the house so it's not like anyone will notice.
It's been a month since the car accident and two weeks since Aurora was discharged from the hospital, and this is the first time she and Jonah have been truly alone together. It's as though everyone is continuously going out of their way to keep them apart and it frustrates the girl to no end, wanting only to remember him and what their relationship had been.
It's also been a month since she's slept in an actual bed. Between the uncomfortable hospital bed and the loveseat, her back is beginning to make her feel like an elderly woman with chronic back pain.
There's no one stopping her from sleeping in a bed and she knows that she can go to the one in Jonah's room any time she wants. But, every night, without fail, Jonah slips out of the bed the moment he thinks Aurora is asleep - he only lays in there in the first place because she insists and threatens to take the couch if he doesn't sleep in his own bed - and sneaks downstairs to sleep on the couch. And, like clockwork, Aurora will wake up and journey downstairs to sleep on the loveseat so he isn't alone because, though she can't explain it, a nagging sensation in the back of her mind tells her he doesn't truly want to sleep without her by his side.
Jonah yawns and stretches, pulling her out of her thoughts. He winces and rubs his back as he sits up, suffering from the same lower back issues she is.
"Good morning, lovely," Aurora greets him brightly, regretting it as she waves her fractured wrist a little too fast.
He grunts in response, only growing more alert when he's shocked by his bare feet touching the cold floor. "Coffee?"
"Blondie made a pot before he left," she says, unsure as to what exactly he's asking.
"No," he shakes his head, rephrasing as he stands up. "Do you want some?"
Aurora nods eagerly, wondering if this means they'll finally have a normal conversation whilst everyone is gone and they enjoy the warm beverage.
"No creamer, just-"
"A bunch of sugar," Jonah cuts her off, already on his way to the kitchen. "I know."
After a moment, she gets up to follow him, but he meets her halfway in the hallway, having been on his way back to the living room. Aurora accepts the mug from him gratefully, questions bubbling to the surface as she hopes to get him to open up to her.
"When did you-"
"I'm late to meet Daniel," he says hurriedly, avoiding eye contact so he doesn't have to see the disappointment in her gaze. "I'm sorry, but maybe we'll talk later?"
Aurora can only nod, not trusting herself to speak. He sighs and subconsciously starts to lean in to kiss her forehead but catches himself, muttering a half-hearted goodbye before rushing out the front door.
