"Are you sure Caden is distracting her?" Jordan asks for what might just be the billionth time.
I am convinced that this boy is purposefully trying to make me crack it and lose my shit.
"Yes." I snap and focus my attention to keeping my sleep deprived eyes open.
"Are you absolut-"
"OH MY GOD!" Ruby's groans from behind me cut Jordan off.
"Shut up and stop being a pussy." Ruby scolds and I silently thank the lord that this girl noticed that fact that my eyes are hideously decorated with bags under them.
"I am not a pussy!" He defends and I give up with a sigh.
Focusing on the task at hand, I turn the knob attached to the door labelled 'Principal's Office'.
I step in and the other two follow.
God, I really hope waking up at six to buy superglue and glitter was worth this.
I dig out the tubes of said superglue from my backpack and so does Ruby.
Unscrewing the lid I aimlessly squirt it over the desk while Ruby covers the chairs.
Once the small room is bathed in the already setting substance, Jordan carried on with the second phase of the prank.
The glitter.
Jordan takes the lid off the 2 kilo bucket and wrinkles his nose at the horrid colour of bright pink.
I hate pink too buddy.
"This is going to get everywhere." Jordan whines as he watches me scoop up the glitter in fists and sprinkle the load on the glue.
"I swear Jordan, I'm going to pour acid on your face and hope you swallow some." Ruby threatens as she walks back to the chairs and dishes out the glitter.
"At least I can swallow." Jordan retorts and Ruby perks up at this while I hold in a snicker.
"Did you just indirectly say you're gay?!" Ruby dramatically exclaims, placing a hand on her chest.
Jordan freezes for a moment, registering what he just said and immediately jumps to deny it.
"N-No, I d-didn't." He stutters.
"Y-Yes you d-did." Ruby mocks and I slap my forehead as I sense another one of their fights coming on.
"Guys! Stop flirting and come and help me." I urge and they stop their bickering before simultaneously yelling, "We're not flirting!".
Just as Ruby and I finished the layer of glitter, we heard thundering footsteps and a breathless Caden appeared at the door. He nearly bumps into Jordan who was 'guarding' the door.
"Elisa's coming. I could only stall her for so long." Caden pants and panic sets in at the fear of getting caught.
"Weren't you meant to divert her attention? Stall the enemy" Jordan accuses.
"I don't see you doing anything buddy." Caden grunts, Jordan's remarks not breaking his stone facade.
Ruby grins at the fact that someone agrees with her opinion on Jordan being a lazy bastard.
