As I drived to Mia's house, there's one thing couldn't stay away from my thoughts.
What's up with Luke?
I mean, he's nice to me now and all, but whenever I'm with Mia....I dunno. But something changes about him.
He's been giving me these weird looks all day. Like I did something horribly wrong to him. I guess I should talk to him about it later.
I pulled over at the front of Mia's house and we headed straight to her room.
Seriously, it was really, really big. If this were America, she'd be on Teen Cribs by now.
"Now," Mia said, showing us the DVDs "Which one are we watching?"
"Titanic!" Alli and Sienna squealed.
"Harry Potter." I countered.
"Hunger Games!" Luke shot back.
"Harry Potter." Alex firmly said.
"Whoa!" Mia said, holding her hands up in surrender. "Calm down!"
"Mia!" Derek said, storming inside.
"What?" Mia irritatedly replied.
"I'm bored." Derek said, flopping on Mia's sofa. Yes, she had a sofa. Yes, in her room. Just so you know, her room also has a full-sized fridge, a flat screen TV about 49 inches if I'm not mistaken, and her pillows are really soft.
"Then watch a movie with us!" Mia replied to her brother.
"I don't wanna." Derek said, lazily putting a pillow over his head.
"Then get out." Mia said, removing the pillow from her brother's head and ruffling his hair.
"Ah, my hair!" Derek cried, fixing his hair.
"Whoa," I said, with a smile "I see a mini Cody in the room."
"Shut up!" Cody replied.
"Come on, Cody!" Alli cooed. "Share your collection of assorted hair products with Derek."
"NO!" Cody shouted, "Mine only!"
I laughed.
"How much do you own?" I asked him.
He shrugged.
"I don't count." he simply replied, which made me laugh harder.
"What?" Cody demanded. "It's not a crime for a guy to own some!"
"Some is not legit enough to be used in that sentence." Mia pointed out, beginning to chuckle with us.
"Okay, okay." Cody said, "Let's just pick a movie."
We groaned.
"Kill joy." Alli muttered.
"On second thought," Derek said, viewing the choices. "I'd watch with you guys as long as we aren't watching Titanic."
Mia smiled, "Okay, what do you want?"
"Harry Potter." Derek quickly answered. "Definitely HP."
"Yeah buddy!" Alex yelled.
I raised my hand up.
"High five, little man." I said, as Derek slapped my hand.
"Fine." the girls said simultaneously.
Aww, they looked so irresistable.
"We'll watch Titanic later." Alex, Luke and I said at the same time.
