Here We Go Again (Mia's POV) Chapter 24

I waved goodbye to Daniel as he walked out the door.

"So," Luke said. "We're leaving tomorrow."

"I know." I replied, giving him a hug. "Gonna miss you."

"Same here." He replied.

"I'm gonna miss you more." I told Andrea.

"I know, right?" She said. "We barely spent any time together."

I nodded. "If you want, you could sleep over here tonight."

Her eyes lit up. "Of course I want to!"

She looked at Luke, "Can I?"

He nodded. "No prob. But we have to get her at 8am."

I pouted. "So early!"He rolled his eyes. "So true."

"Gotta go now!" Sienna and the others said. I kinda forgot they were there.

"Yeah, this is getting awkward." Alex commented.

"Really awkward." Cody added.

"Okay, bye!" I said, trying to break the awkwardness.

In my opinion, things get a lot more awkward when you call it awkward.

"Okay, see you tomorrow!" Alli called out as they all exited.

I giggled and went back to Luke.

"I guess I gotta go, too." Luke told me.

"Aw, okay." I replied. "Goodnight."

"Goodnight." He replied as he exited.

"So," Andrea said.

"Wait, you don't have any pyjamas." I noticed.

She shrugged. "I don't care, I like sleeping like this!"

I chuckled. "Okay then."

I let her have one of the twins' mattress since, well, that's the only place available.

"So," I said to her, "Heard my brother and his friend have a little crush on you."

She made an 'ew' face. Not a disgusted one, just an 'ew' one. "Why exactly?"

I smiled and shrugged. "Well, you are very pretty! I really wasn't surprised."

She smiled. "Thanks, but I only think of Derek as a friend."

"And Tom?"

She shrugged. "I barely know the guy! And he fell asleep on my shoulder a while ago."

She shivered and I laughed. "You kids are so cute these days!"

She stuck her tongue out. "We're preteens!"

I held my hands up in surrender, "Alright, alright. Preteens, got it."

She giggled. "Can I ask you something?"

I nodded. "Sure, what is it?"

She looked uneasy. "Well, I know this kinda out of my business. But...."

Her voice drifted off.

"Go on." I encouraged.

"Do you still..." She said, "Love my brother?"

I gulped. I can't lie to this girl. She's too sweet for her own good.

"Uhm..." I began, looking just as uneasy as she was.

"Honestly." Andrea said. "I won't get mad, I promise. I won't tell Luke either."

I sighed. "Yeah. Kind of. Sort of. Maybe."
