"Yes, I will." Mia replied, forcing me to crash my lips onto hers.

She kissed back, as expected, but it didn't last as long as how I wanted it to. Stroking her hair, I gently placed my lips on her forehead and placed the ring on her finger.

"This is just..." Mia said, staring at it. "It's beautiful. Thank you."

"I would've gotten something more beautiful.." I said, pretending to look guilty for not doing it. "But something more beautiful than my wife would be impossible."

"Fiance." She corrected, holding back a giggle, but failing to hold back her blush. "I am your fiance."

"Well, you will be my wife soon." I winked.

She laughed. "Okay, okay. But if I may ask, where did you get the ring? It looks really unique."

Now it was my turn to blush. Honestly, I just got that from the group of trash I found while setting up my little surprise.

"Uhh...." I said, pointing at the chandelier I made myself. She looked at me in shock.

Okay.

She's probably breaking the engagement now.

"So, you're telling me that.. that..." Mia began to stutter.

"I'm sorry!" I said, starting to panic. "It's just that-"

"You made this ring yourself?" She questioned.

Well, that's nicer compared to what I was expecting. Slowly, I nodded.

"Oh my goodness Greyson." She sighed. "I love you so much."

She squeezed me tightly, which I returned. This girl really could be quite unpredictable sometimes.

"Wanna know why I made this?" I asked her, pointing at the ring. She nodded.

"I saw a ring while setting all this up." I began explaining. "I might be overreacting, but when I saw it, I coldn't help thinking of a love that got lost. I thought of you. I thought of how the love of the two people who shared this ring must've been as bad as how we used to be. I never want to lose you ever again, Mia. You know why? Because-"

"I love you." She completed for me.

"And I love you, too." I replied. "And I'm willing to spend my whole life with you by my side."

She smiled, a real one. All her teeth showing. I can see how well I phrased what I just said, and I swear I meant everything.

"Shall we?" I asked, motioning to her car and holding out my right arm for her to take.

"We shall." She winked, taking my arm as we strolled by a transformed junkyard on the way to our ride.

"Meet you in the car." Mia said, scurrying away, leaving me alone on the way to her car. Looking at her strangely, I went to our ride and waited for her in the frontseat.

"Back!" She squealed, holding a bunch of merchandise I set there for her.

Who knew that you could still "fangirl" about a person who would wed you anyway?

Typical girl.

I chuckled when I saw her. "You know, I could've got you all that."

"You did." She said. "You left it for me a while ago."

"Well, I could've gotten you better items!" I argued. "They're mine anyway."

"Which means I could get them autographed!" Mia chirped, holding them out for me to sign.

I remembered a few years back, when I was about 13, the number of girls who'd line up just to get their things signed by me.

"Please?" she begged. Sighing, I chuckled and got a permanent marker from my pocket.

Though I really don't know how I got that.

"Give 'em." I told Mia. I started to sign her items.

When I got to her last item, I took myself about a few moments until I realized what it was.

My last album.

Well, EP. But still, that was that. My last masterpiece.

And I now name it Mia's.

"What's the matter?" She asked me, noticing my lack of energy and happiness.

"Nothing." I replied. "Just remembered things."

"Like? Your music career?" She asked, when she noticed that I was still holding the CD.

I nodded. "Well, it's really nothing."

"But...?" She really will not stop trying to get this out of me.

"You know, I don't regret anything I did." I told her. "If I didn't break out of showbiz, I wouldn't be here with you right now."

"Fate would've had some ways." Mia said. "You could be making music and still be with me. That'd be easy."

"Well, where's the fun in that?" I teased. "It would've been hard, though."

"Why do you say so?" She asked me.

"Paps, and everything." I told her. "They're everywhere. They rewrite honest stories of some innocent people and turn them into exclusives. You may have noticed that already."

She nodded. "I was actually surprised when they didn't track me down when they found out you were back." I chuckled.

"The world wouldn't have cared anymore." I told her. "That's how life works here, it's either they like you or they don't. If you're gone for too long, they'll lose interest in you. Meaning they'll lose interest in your exclusives, your lifestyle, your lovelife. So if you ever plan on entering showbiz, good luck."

"Thak you, for that long, awkward speech that I will totally need in the future." Mia said, sarcastically rolling her eyes and attempting to ruffle my hair.

"Yes, you're welcome." I smirked. "I'm like super pro in making totally awesome speeches like that and I know you deep down you find it super sexy no matter how stupid I sound right now." She rolled her eyes and began laughing.

"Okay, we completely suck at sarcasm." She said, in between fits of laughter.

"Agreed." I said, scratching the back of my head. "Shall we go?"

"Sure." Mia said, starting the engine.

I must be real lucky.
