I rolled my eyes at the sight of a brochure for the formal.

Seriously, why does prom have to be done every year?

I just shrugged and strutted through the hallway with Luke at my right.

Alliana had a different lunch period since she was a year ahead now and Ariana had some school paper assignments so now we don't have much time together in school.

"Hey," Luke said. "You're going with me, right?

"I nodded, though something was bothering me.

My summer.

My Gold Coast friends.

Daniel.

I didn't have any contact with him since we left the place.

Luke obviously didn't know a thing. I mean, honesty is important in a relationship, but I didn't have the heart to tell him.

Why would I anyway? Would he talk to me again?

I guess not.

"Something wrong?" Luke asked me.

I shook my head. "Nah, I just miss Daniel and the others, that's all."

He wrapped his arms around me. "You'll see them soon, alright?"

I nodded and rested my head on his shoulder.

"And once you see them," Luke smirked. "You'll be missing me."

I rolled my eyes and giggled. This boy!

"I will?" I innocently asked.

"Fine. Don't miss me. Be that way." Luke fake sniffed.

I rolled my eyes and kissed him on the cheek.His face automatically lit up, making me smirk.

Finally found out this guy's weakness.

"Dude, of course I'll miss you!" I said, resting my head on his shoulder.

"I know." he whispered, kissing my forehead.

Still so sure that it's possible for there to be more sparks.

I already felt them.

With Daniel.

I sighed and played along with Luke. I have him. And Daniel has Sienna....

They're happy together. I don't wanna disturb them. I don't wanna ruin my friendship with Sienna.

For some reason though, she hasn't been replying to my texts.

I wonder if I said anything. Or maybe she's too busy celebrating with Daniel.

For all I know, it was their 1st anniversary yesterday. I wonder how they're doing.....

"Hey." Luke said. "You seem deep in thought."

I shook my head and giggled.

"C'mon, tell me." Luke insisted.

"Why?" I whined.

"Because if I find out that you're checking out some other dude then I swear, I-" Luke balled his fists.

"Chill!" I said, cutting him off and giving his hand a squeeze. "I was just wondering why Sienna hasn't been replying to my text messages, facebook messages and tweets."

Luke let out a sigh. "Oh. Well, maybe she's busy. It's her anniversary with Daniel, right?"

I shrugged. "Yeah, yesterday."

He chuckled. "I bet they're busy."

"With what?" I asked, innocently.

Luke just winked and let out a small chuckle.

I hit him playfully on the arm.

"Seriously?!" I shrieked, laughing as well. "Gross!"

"What did I say?" Luke managed to choke out.
