Next day

Amilia POV

"Baby lemme just get one more scoop please " I said pouting to Kaheem  .

"No go in the car Amilia I'm not gonna tell you again " he said holding the ice cream tub above his head .

My lip trembled and tears began to fall .

"I just want some " I said silently crying.

He sighed and put down the tub before hugging me .

"Chill out Mila , I just don't want you eating all of this shit " he said hugging my waist .

I wiped my eyes as he kissed my forehead.

"Come on I'll buy you a slushy after" he said taking my hand in his .

I smiled as we walked out the door towards the car .

Today I had an doctors appointment and I was craving again .

I climbed in the range as he closed my door .

"You been taking your meds " he said to me as he backed out of the driveway.

"Yea but they finished this morning so I'll have to get some more "  I said taking pictures on his phone .

"I won't be home tonight " he said not looking at me .

"Why , where you going?" I said frowning.

"I'll be back late so don't wait up " he said ignoring my question.

"But Kai I wan-"

"WHAT THE HELL DID I JUST SAY AMILIA JUST LEAVE IT ALONE " he said yelling at me .

I looked at him shocked then digested the lump that was in my throat .

I don't know why he was behaving like this but I sure was going to get to the bottom of it .

I looked at him one more time then sighed looking out the window.

Kayla POV

"Noooo why you cheating bro" I said laughing.

"You just been a loser thats all " he chuckled as I pushed his forehead.

I was over at Rosco's crib just chilling and we ended up playing the game .

I honestly missed these days where  we would just chill together.

I pressed the controller vigorously but it was no use he had already won.

" Winner as always " he said smirking.

"Nigga I beat you a few times don't get hype " I said rolling my eyes .

"That was way back Kay that don't count " he said licking his lips while leaning back in the sofa .

"Yea yea " I said shaking my head.

"So tell me what you been up to " he said grabbing my feet starting to massage them .

I looked at him funny trying to fight the smile off my face .

"You lucky , cuz ion like feet and you know this " he said mugging me .

"Why you always gotta spoil the moment lil boy " I said laughing.

He shrugged while continuing to rub my feet .

"You still in the game " I asked him .

His eyes met with mine as I waited for him to give me an answer.

Rosco wasn't the type to lie , but what he would do was keep things from you .

So if something came up he would be straight up with it , and that was what got to me .
