Chapter 48

1 week later

Roanna POV

"Hey baby , how you feeling " Raheem said kissing my cheek.

I shrugged as I put Rosalina in the car seat .

India had come back a few days ago so I decided to come down to LA for a couple of days to see my dad .

And plus Raheem wanted to see Rosa so that's why I brung her .

"You want me to drop you off at your dads " he asked .

I nodded as I just looked out the window .

"Alright I'll bring Rosa to the condo where Kaheem and I are staying  " he said grabbing my hand .

I nodded faintly as I dug in my purse for my shades as I felt my eyes burning.

I told myself this year I wouldn't cry I would be strong but I never do .

I always end up balling my eyes out and I can't help it .

I pushed the shades closer to my face as I cried silently.

Raheem must of heard me sniff because he squeezed my hand tighter before giving me a smile .

Today was the anniversary of my mother's death and I always spent it with my dad .

He always took it the hardest and I have to be there for him to make sure he's cool .

20 mins later

We pulled up infront of my dad's house and immediately hopped out .

I walked over to rosa's side and opened the door giving her a kiss and wrapping the blanket around her .

"I'll pick you up in the morning " he said hugging me .

"Yes " I nodded as he kissed my forehead.

He smiled and got back in the car before pulling out the driveway and driving off .

He knew that I just wanted to be with my dad today with no disturbances .

I pulled out my key and walked in the house .

I sighed as I saw 2 empty Hennessy bottles on the table.

I placed my bag on the counter and grabbed 2 waters before walking upstairs.

I didn't have to call him because I knew where he was .

I walked into the small room and watched as he chugged down some more liquor.

I grabbed it from him and gave him the bottled water and sat next to him laying on his chest .

I looked around on the walls on all the pictures we had together especially the off guards my dad used to take of her .

"I miss her" I croaked out .

He rubbed my hair as he sighed .

"I miss her even more, Ro there's not a day that goes by when I don't think about her" he replied lowly .

"She would of always wanted to be around Rosa " I smiled as I thought about it .

"Yea , and always say how you should do this or that " he chuckled lowly .

"She was the best " I said looking at a photo of her.

"She was " he breathed out .

"You ready to go " I asked him.

"Yup "

30 mins later

I pulled up infront of the cemetery and parked before grabbing the lilies I had in the back.
