India POV

"Yess mom I'm fine , I'll be back later " I told her as I stood at the door .

"Make sure you call me if anything okay baby " she said walking over to me handing me my handbag .

"Yes I will " I nodded

"Alright go on now " she said smiling.

I kissed her cheek and pressed the button on my car keys .

While opening my car door my phone started to ring.

"Wassup " I said into the phone while starting up the car .

"Kendrick is annoying me again and I wanna have a girls night out tonight " Dearra said through the phone .

I chuckled as I imagined her facial expression .

"I mean ion know " I said as I drove out my moms driveway.

"Come on India it's been a month and you've been home for over 2 weeks now , it's time " she said practically begging me .

"Alright meet me at my place at 8 so we can get ready " I said smirking .

"Yaaaay , the turn up gonna be too real tonight hunny " she squealed .

"Later party monster "

"See you later babe " she replied before hanging up .

I pushed my phone in my bag as I continued to drive .

We had all came back to LA 2 weeks ago and I'm so glad to be back home .

I was nearly completely healed up but I could sometimes get sore .

Today I decided to get the matching tattoos with Akeem since it was long over due .

I pulled up at his shop and smiled in approval of the exterior.

For this being my first impression of the shop I was absolutely impressed.

Everything just screamed him and he made sure to add a few details to add his own stamp .

I stepped out of the car and walked up to the door and pushed it open.

The door chime jingled as everyone turned their heads to my direction.

"Hey umm is Akeem here " I asked the girl at the front desk .

"Yea he's in his office , I'll call him to come out " she said assuring me .

I nodded and looked around .

It wasn't your typical tattoo shop it had a more chill vibe like somewhere all the dudes would come and chill out .

It was nice and just his style , now I was slightly regretting not coming to his grand opening.

"India " he said snapping me out my thoughts .

"Hey how you doing " I said semi hugging him .

"I'm good come to my office because my people can be hella nosey " he said smirking.

I nodded and followed him down the hall and into his office .

I looked around and saw drawings all over the walls .

But one in particular had caught my eye .

That was the only drawing that had a frame the rest were just taped to the wall .
