Rihanna POV

"Where is somewhere you would love to go " he asked me as I ate strawberries.

"Uummm Fiji , or Egypt " I answered truthfully.

"Mine is South Africa or Belize " he answered .

We both were currently in my apartment just talking and laughing.

I stared at him just taking in all his features.

I always would pay close attention to details .

I even noticed the small creases he had in his forehead when he smiled or frowned.

"So what was you doing before I met you " he asked knocking me out my thoughts .

I realised what he said and got up to put down my bowl .

"Hey you want some melon or would you like some berries " I said smiling at him .

He looked at me funny then shook his head .

"Mix it up fah me " he said rubbing his chin .

"Okay " I nodded while taking the things out the fridge.

My past was something that I grew accustom to hiding.

I wasn't proud of the things I did and the decisions I made so that's why I kept it hid away from anyone to see .

And now Will comes along just trying to open me like a book .

But I'm just not ready to let him In just yet .

It's gonna take a while for me to trust him and he needs to understand that .

Raheem POV

I sipped the water I had as I scrolled on my phone .

After going through the most to get her number I finally did and convinced her to meet me at lunch .

As much as I didn't want to admit it , Ashley was a part of my life that I hadn't closed up .

She left when I needed her the most so I don't think I ever got over it .

When I saw her those years back it just reminded me of how much she hurt me and shit .

That's why as soon as she left I started to get reckless and just fuck everything that caught my eye .

That was until Roanna came along with her fine ass .

She changed me and helped me put that part of my life away.

Because of her I loved again and now she blessed me with a beautiful daughter and I can't thank her enough .

But from the moment I found out about my first born I was confused ,upset but happy all at the same time.

I don't know how I was gonna tell Roanna but I had to find a way .

"Your early " she said sitting down in front of me .

I looked up seeing Ashley looking back at me .

"Yea and your late " I said blankly.

She shrugged and picked up the menu .

"So you didn't bring him " I said questioning her .

"No I didn't because I didn't want to confuse him just yet because we have to straighten a few things out first " she replied sternly.

Although I wanted to see him again I understood her decision.
