Addie pov
it was like the weather was representing how im feeling right now. Zayn was no where to be found and I was beginning to worry. I should have just forgave him and not cause a fuss. Its my fault once again. God im so stupid. "so Addie where's the canteen?" Luke asked interrupting my thoughts. "come, I'll show you" Ashton said. Ashton and Luke as expected was talking it really was the start of a budding relationship. They had to much in common to ignore.
"Addie you coming" Luke asked waving his big hands in my face. "no I just- want to be alone maybe next time Luke" I said walking away from Luke before he convinces me to stay with him. Although it was raining quite heavily I wanted to go outside where Zayns and I relationship really started. My legs tiredly carried me to the exit. "Hey Addie" a familiar deep raspy voice called after me. "Hey err Harry?" this couldn't get anymore awkward. Neither one of us were speaking. we exchanged awkward glances and smiles before Harry had the courage to speak up.
"so yeah im sorry about our ... encounter " he said cheekily showing his cute dimples. "its fine I was hoping we could just forget the whole encounter" I said mocking his choice of words. "I was just wondering do you know that Zayns at the back of the field wasted right?" he's words took my breath away. "does my face look like I knew about it?" I stormed past Harry. I needed to find Zayn before he does something's he going to regret in the morning.
I had no coat or an umbrella and as a result my hair was drenched and so was my outfit. My dress was bound to go see threw any minute now. I couldn't exactly run either because firstly, my stamina is just rubbish and secondly im stupid enough to wear heels. Damn Zayn for choosing this ridiculously cute outfit. The sky was a dark colour and lightning was soon to struck. Everything was foggy and I couldn't see as far as the back of the field. My pace quickened.
"Addie wait up girl" Luke called after me. Why the hell is he here? "Luke go away!" I shouted at him causing him to gasp. "Addie your gonna catch a cold" he pulled me back by my wrist. Zayn will freak out if he sees Luke and I together especially running after him. "Luke please go away" I spoke calmly hoping to convince him. "are you going after Zayn?" he asked, annoyance taking over his features. My lack of reply gave Luke the answer he was looking for. "here take my jacket" he took his blue jacket off and placed the soggy clothing over my cold shoulders..
"Luke I don't have time for this, I have to find Zayn so if you'll excuse me" I said walking away from his caring but crippling gaze. As I nearer the end of the field Luke's presence was still behind me. Of course Luke would follow me. He didn't trust Zayn as it is. I heard various males laughing. I turned to face Luke who looked as puzzled as me. "Zayn?" I questioned as 4 males come into sight. Ben, Louis, Zayn and an unknown person. Zayn had a vodka bottle in his grasp and some scattered all around his slumped body.
"Addie hello there care to join us?" Ben smirked "leave her alone" Louis spat at Ben. Why was Louis even friends with someone so harsh. Bens wounds have yet to healed up from his previous encounter with Zayn. "Addie please go away" Zayn said taking another sip from his intoxicant. "Zayn please come with me" I said tears filling my eyes. My hand raised for him to take. Ben scoffed when he saw Zayn actually debating whether to. "please Zayn" I pleaded.
Zayns pov
"please Zayn" she begged. I fucking hate myself right now. Addie was soaking wet and her hair and clothes were drenched because of my stupidity. Her hands were shaking also they looked numb. Her nose was red from the coldness. "look how whipped you are" Ben said with venom in his voice. I stood up from my spot avoiding looking at my beautiful Addie's gaze that broke my non existent heart. "please come home" she barely whispered. Addie was better off with someone else who can guarantee her a future. Why couldn't she realize I was jeopardising her future she so desperately wanted. "Addie lets go" Luke pleaded from behind Addie.
"Look at her Zayn.. this is what you've done to her" Louis said walking over to a frozen Addie. Louis has obviously sobered up. "get away from her" I spat. I wrapped Addie in a tight embrace. Her smell alone was enough for me to sober up. "lets go love" I smiled down at her. She had a blue material wrapped round her obviously Luke's.
When we reached the school building, lessons had already started. Addie was still shaking and her teeth was chattering. "I've got her" Luke lightly pushed me out of the way causing my blood to rage. "I've got her actually" I raised my voice a little making Addie jump. myself and Luke were face to face. Addie lightly tugged on my wet shirt. "can we go to yours Zayn?" she weakly smiled. "okay love" I calmly replied. I couldn't help the smug look that played on my face. She chose me and not Luke, that's gotta hurt. Luke backed down and whispered something to Addie, what ever he said she smiled weakly at. I don't get their relationship, they were completely different, like us....
