Addie pov
Zayn tensed up before my very eyes. I didn't want to make him uncomfortable so I didn't pressure him to answer. "they--they left when they found out what I do for a living" Zayn said releasing my hand from his. Zayn took a deep breath and released . "they must really miss you " I said in the best comforting voice. "probably not, I don't know if you noticed Addie im kinda a mess" he joked , at least he was attempting to joke about his life. "have you heard about Katherine" Zayn question took me by surprise, why would he even mention her?
"no.. what has she done now?" I joked. "well apparently Liam confessed his love for her and she just walked out" there was much humour in his voice. How could Katherine do that to someone who was obviously deep in love with her? "commitment issues huh?" Zayn nudged me. I realised Zayn hasn't asked me to be his girlfriend yet. Didn't he want me? we shared many intimate kisses. "Zayn don't-- don't you want me?" I stopped in my tracks. I wanted a answer now, I refuse to be one of those girls I despise.
"Addie why are you ruining this?" Zayn raised his voice a little. "how am I ruining it?" I raised my voice slightly. two can play that game. "we have a good thing going I don't want to ruin it Addie!" He stated. Ah he made my blood boil, how dare he, I stuck by Zayn even though everything in my body told me to walk away. Maybe it was time to end it. "too late Zayn its pretty ruined.. goodbye Zayn" I walked off.
I had no where to go. I was totally alone in this world. God what have I done. The instant I left Zayn my heart hurt. I missed him. I would give anything to be in his comforting and protective arms. My legs took me to outside Louis's. Would he even want me staying there. Being brave is something I normally did when I was with Zayn. "hey Louis" I waved at him. "hello Addie do you want to come in" he suggested. I nodded. "so whats a pretty girl like you doing out on your own?" he said while sitting next to me on the sofa. "I have no where to go so I thought who's the nicest dude I know? then I thought of you" I gave him a big ass grin. "oh flattery, I like it " he began to tickle me.
after much hours of laughing and small talk we both were worn out. Louis took my mind of everything. I forgot about Zayn , my mum and Katherine. I would always be grateful to Louis for that. "Addie what are you doing with Zayn, he isn't good for someone like you" he blurted out. It was obvious he didn't mean to say that but he did. "like me?" I said looking hurt. "I mean innocent" he moved a strand of hair from my face. "I - I like Zayn he's nice to me" I answered his question . "not to other people" he said loud enough for me to hear. "what do you know about Zayn?" I raised my voice a little "fuck Addie he beats people up for money" he was now standing in front of me. inches away from my face. "who told you that" I said while closing the distance between us.
"my friend Ben" I was taken back by his words . How could someone so nice and funny be friends with such a horrible person. "your friends with ben?.. why?" " why are you friends with Zayn? exactly" he said before pressing his lips onto mine. It was nothing like my kisses with Zayn. mine and Zayns had passion and desire whereas Louis's was filled with desperation but also ... desire? It felt so wrong but right. I knew I should stop but why couldn't I , I was under some kind of trance. Louis removed himself from my lips. His smile made my insides melt. "we cant do that again" I said breathlessly. "why not love?" he was now using Zayns word for me. It didn't make me have butterflies in my stomach like Zayn . I think its fair to say Louis was no Zayn.
" can I stay here tonight, im kinda homeless." I joked . "of course love, sofa or bed" He said bed in a seductive voice. "err bed" I looked on the floor. Why did I suddenly feel so ashamed of myself. "of course love" he shot me a wink. I got up and got ready. On the way to school , Louis would occasionally take my hand in his, it was extremely annoying. I removed my hand from his once again when I got to m y locker. "cant I hold your hand now?" he looked sad. "course you can but it might mean something to you" he looked extremely angry at my reply. "see you later Addie"
Louis bumped into Zayn storming off from my locker. I felt Zayns presences behind me. I longed for him to hug me from behind like he used to. "what Zayn" I said coldly. "see you moved on quickly thanks Addie" he said sarcastically. "Louis is just a friend Zayn, jealous much?" I teased. " yeah right, its up to you who you let into your pants" he said coldly. Wow that hurt. "im not like that you know that" I said through gritted teeth. " do you remember that incident with Harry?" he was like a changed man. I slapped him hard around the face. once again the feeling of power came coursing threw my body. It immediately stopped when I saw Zayn face filled with anger. I was actually so scared right now. "don't ever do that again love" he was now smiling.
"hey leave Addie alone Zayn" Katherine called while walking right in the middle of our heated discussion. wait was Katherine actually sticking up for me?. "whatever, see you Addie" he barged into Katherine. "hey now I helped you , you can help me right?" of course it was too good to be true. I rolled my eyes at her. She's crazy if she thinks I would do anything for her. " please , I am your sister you know" great she pulled out the 'sister' card. "fine" I groaned. "yes, okay well I need you to break up with Liam for me" she said. "what?" surprise filled my voice. I was not expecting that. "he's sweet and amazing in bed but he's getting to serious for me so yeah" " I cant Liam is the nicest person I know , I couldn't do that to him. I said " that's just it , he will think its me not innocent Addie .. please" she gave me a sincere smile.
I couldn't do that to someone but she was my sister "fine, as long as you sort my problem out with Zayn" I immediately regretted saying that. "sure " she wrapped me into a hug. "but in school I don't trust you with him" I didn't really want her sleeping with Zayn. "urghhhh fine we need to get dressed like each other, no offence but I would never wear that" she eyed me up and down . "fine" I rolled my eyes once again. "okay come round mine after school?" she seemed a little to excited to be doing this. " okay. " god what have I done
