My eyes stare blanky at the uniform. They  think I am betraying them by bringing The Faculty here to arrest them. I place one hand delicately on Dylan's back and the other on his brothers, they both turn to look at me as I had stopped them from doing something stupid.

"Dean, we escaped The Faculty. They are survivors! Like me! Like you! Like everyone in this damn room! You'd be stupid to turn them away! I've seen one of them in action. How can you turn us away? How could you think I would betray you, I could never..." My voice broke as I spoke but I kept eye contact and my hands on their backs, grabbing at the clothes they were wearing.

I had not had time to think about what we all were wearing. The Faculty were on us, they would have seen us if I did not get us here. I had not even taken a second look at the brothers clothes other wise I would not have brought them straight here. I just hated the thought of being classed as what everyone would think a traitor.

I glance around to see everyone with wide eyes staring at the brothers, they were scared of them. My eyes pleaded with Deans, I would explain this all to him. I needed too. Deans eyes glanced behind him and by the knowing look in his eyes. I knew who he was looking for. I felt my head flop at the thought. It finally drained on me, he was not coming back. I feel a sliver go down my cheek and quickly, wipe it before looking back up. Nobody makes a move to comfort me but I know my grip on the brothers clothes had tighten and I quickly, remove my hands and move infront of them.

Dean notices before he signals to follow him, I look over my shoulder and nod at Dylan and his brother to follow. We would have to explain ourselves and I would rather it be in private and not in front of everyone, and I'm sure the boys appreciate getting out off everyone's stern glares. I could tell as I saw them both relax as we were lead into a room.

"Explain." Deans voice beamed. I jumped slightly and it did not go unnoticed by Dylan's brother as he gave Dean a glare.

"Well this man." He glares at Dean not liking how he spoke to me, for some reason. "Is after her. He can easily manipulate you, he did it to me and my brother. He's behind The Faculty even when he has abilities himself. He makes you do horrible things and when he saw her." He points at me but continues, " he went crazy and tracked her down."

I know what he was talking about. He had been here, he had tracked me to here and then Leo and I, ran for our lives. I was not going to become his puppet again, I could not. He was a horrendous person who made you hurt innocent people because he liked it. He liked having control over the littlest thing. On how you had your hair, what you wore and even if you spoke.

I frowned at the memories. Everything he had made me do flashing in my eyes, everyone he made me... I looked at Dylan's brother who was now gazing at me. I was throwing a defeated aura around and by the looks of everyone around me- they sensed it too.

I smiled at them but the smile did not reach my eyes and i was not beaming in delight I was trying to cover the aura of defeat and they all knew that. Nobody spoke they just watched me. All their eyes fixed on me as I fiddled with the hem of my shirt knowing they were waiting on me. Leo, what am i doing? Why did he have to..? Why did you leave me?!

I knew I was being selfish in making out like he had an choice in the matter but he really did not. The monster had wanted him out of the way and had made sure to make sure the job was done himself. Finally for once in his life doing his own dirty work. And that was all Leo was to him- work. Not an actual living person who had great things ahead of him or a life worth living, he was dirty work and he was killed as a pawn. In the monsters game. Where no rule applies and now, everyone was looking at me for our next move. What was we supposed to do? Let him have his own way? Hand me over.. I would not allow that, I could not. If only this was not happening, if only the world was how it was before. Before The Faculty was even made. Leo would still be here and nobody would be looking to me for answers. We'd all have our normal lives. But would it be normal? We'd all still have our abilities and even now. Did we all want it to be normal? What would we be without The Faculty hunting us all? Would it all end if they handed me over? Would the monster end The Faculty's days? Or would it remain and hunt down all my friends. All the innocent man, women and children. Just so he could control them and have them as his own personal army. We were not in a perfect world. We weren't in a human vs ability world. We were in a pretend world- ruled by him! A monster in a mans body. And we were all just game pieces in his world where anything he wants or says, goes. The only way to beat him would be to join him or kill him. And I think I speak for everyone when I say we will not join his malicious army. Meaning it was the latter option. The option I had hoped for.

Finally, that monster would die for everything he had done. The pain he had caused not just me but the world. Everybody would see him and the government for what it really was and that was the plan. Expose him and The Faculty and get our lives back and save anybody. Human and ability alike from his grasps.
