I sat crossed legged on my bed. The two brothers sat on the other side of the room as far as they could get from me. I knew this would be Axels idea. Probably saying she will be more safe if I'm no where near and I had allowed it because I wanted him to move on. Slowly but surely he would.

Dylan sits somewhere inbetween wanting to stay close to his brother but not wanting me to feel left out.

I had not seen my appearance in a few days, I knew the hand prints around my neck had darkened. I only knew this because Axel is refusing to look at me. I could tell my hair was atrocious as it was begging me to wash it how it looked, well that was a different story.

Reluctantly, I got up from my safe spot the bed creaking as my weight left it. This gained both of their attention and I could only smile with sympathy as I made my way out of the room. Whilst I walked the corridor I could feel the waves of selfconciousness crashing into me.

I squared my shoulders in a attempt to make it seem like I was not bothered by this lack of confidence. It would all come rushing back when I was fresh.

Quickly, I locked the door as quick as a cheetah behind me to make sure that nobody could follow me. Sighing loudly as I scrambled out of my clothes into the shower which was running cold water. My body flinched at the cold sparks which dropped on to my bare shoulders and I almost screamed at the contact. My nimble fingers reached out for the dial to make the water warmer and more comfortable.

My whole body relaxed once the now warm water hit my bare shoulders instead of the coldness that once was there.

I wriggled my way back into the dirty clothes, the dirt gripping to my freshly washed skin.

"Lyria, there you are." Axels voice echoed from the other side of the room as I came out with my hair soaking into my shirt. My lips curl into a smile as I turn to face him. What he had done to me flashes infront of me but I quickly, try to shake it off. So I don't hurt his feelings.

"Axel.." I breathlessly let out as my baby blues fixed on his now moving body. He was quickly moving towards me, closing the distance between us. As our proximity gets closer I can't help but to move my eyes to the floor.

"Lyria, I can not begin..." his voice croaks beneath him which makes my baby blues snap to meet his.

"Axel don't." I whispered. "It was not your fault and I forgive you. You may be just what we need. What I need! You are going to stop that monster. Not me! You! Axel your are going to save us all. What's inside you, isn't a curse. It was put there for a reason, everything happens for a reason! And that monster out there creating this world of madness, is the reason it's in you. Axel, you are going to save everyone. You are going to save me."

He jumped back at my words and looked over his shoulder at his brothers smug I told you so face, I smile brightly at the two brothers.

These two are every bodies only hope, I'm going to have to help them as much as I can.

Thunder rumbled and echoed through the now quiet base, my eyes flickered to Axel whose body seemed to tense up when the thunder struck. I hated to think of what might happen if his power struck without the monster being here. He could hurt somebody innocent. Even though he will not want too. Maybe he already has? My eyes flickered to his brother who also noticed Axels body tense up. He began slowly making his way over when shrieks erupted around us.

All I could think was the monster is here.. Was it all going to finally end?
