Chapter 68 - Visit

Baekhyun

I run to the cafe where Chanyeol and Yoojoung want to meet me. It's already 15 minutes late. Chanyeol must nagging me nonstop after this.

I enter the cafe that was no crowd. It's still 10 in the morning and plus it was weekend. People must still in a sweet dream. I see Chanyeol and Yoojoung who were talking while drinking coffee. The exam was end and they  want to talk about the graduation day which is held tomorrow.

I sit beside Chanyeol without care when they look at me weirdly.

"What?", I said, annoyed when they look at me without saying anything for 5 minutes.

"What? Is that what you say when you late 15 minutes?", Chanyeol said madly.

Told you he did so.

"Ah, sorry. I was awake late. But did we really need to talk about graduation day? There's nothing we want to talk about?", I said while drinking coffee. I mean Chanyeol's coffee.

"Er...... Actually, it's not that we want to talk about", Yoojoung said with her very slow voice I ever heard.

"What? You guys lied to me?"

"It's not like that. We know you will not agreed to meet us if we tell you the truth", Chanyeol said.

"And you decided to lie to me?"

"Mian. We didn't mean to", Yoojoung said.

The silent occur us about 5 minutes. I can't stand the silent and decided to break it.

"What? You guys think I seriously mad? I'm joking okay so stop showing that guilty face on yours and tell me what's the reason you call me out and break my beauty sleep".

"It's....... It's...", Chanyeol stuttered.

"What?"

They exchanged looks and I noticed that before kick Chanyeol's leg. He shouted a bit.

"I didn't come here to become a third wheel", I said, annoying.

"It's about Hyekyo, Baekhyun-ah", Yoojoung said, hesitated.

I stop drinking the coffee. Then, when I realized both of them give me a full attention, I acts like nothing bother me.

"What about her?"

"We just came back from hospital. We tried to visit her but you know, she still refused to meet anyone", Chanyeol said.

"And?", I said without looking at hin.

"Come on, Baekhyun-ah. It's been almost a month she locked herself in that room without a visitor. She refused them."

"Who was the visitor you mentioned? It was just us, three of us. No one want to meet murderer's daughter", I said harshly yet my heart was hurt when I said that.

"Baekhyun-ah!", Chanyeol shouted to me. The people look at us.

The silent once again occur between us.

"Let's go", Yoojoung said while standing.

"Where?"

"Hospital".

"Visit her? There's no use. She doesn't want to meet anyone. Just let her", I said.

"Until when? Until the day she died? Or until she was buried? That's when you want to go visit her? Come on, Baekhyun-ah. I was once like you. I hate her. I hate her so much that the fact that I want to kill her. She destroyed my life, my family and she even the one who responsible for my parent's death. That's what I believe until that day that I realized something. I thought I was most hurt. I thought no one was hurt as much as what I got through. But something told me, Baekhyun-ah. The one who we hate the most, who we resent the whole our life is the most hurting", Yoojoung said.

"Hyeko is the most victim here, Baekhyun-ah. Can you imagine how was her feeling when her father was too strict on her, when she know that her father killed her true father but the fact is her father now is her real father, when she know her father wants to killed her when he get everything, when she hated by everyone but all she do was to keep herself alive, when she know the tragedy 14 years ago was her father's doing and when she almost killed by her own father? Can you imagine what she felt and what she was thinking? I'm sure her head is now full with how she want to take her own life due to the tension she got from her father? I'm sure you're not thinking the reason why she become cold person. You only think about the hate toward her, the person without heart and like a dead person. I'm just like you, Baekhyun-ah. Just like you", Yoojoung said and turned her face around.

I'm sure she was crying. The fact she told bite my heart and it was painful. I did hate her. No, I hate her. That fact Dad was jailed because of her father's doing and Mom sicked thinking about Dad that time was hurting me. But I didn't think the fact she was the one who full scar and pain.

"Let's go. To the hospital", I said and walked away.

Both of them follow me. After walking 10 minutes, we arrive at hospital where Hyekyo was admitted after the incident when she got shot from her father.

We entered the hospital and walked to Hyekyo's room. Just like what I expected, the room was locked. I asked the nurse and she told us that Hyekyo didn't come out from the room almost a month after the incident when she tried to jump from rooftop.

Suddenly, I saw my uncle walking towards the elevator. I rushed to stop him he was shocked when he see me.

"Baekhyun-ah!"

"Uncle."

"What are doing here?"

I didn't answer his question because I'm kind of awkward to answer his question. When he saw Chanyeol and Yoojoung, he just smile. Guess he know already.

"Visiting a sick friend?", he said while smiling.

I just nodded, didn't dare to look into his eyes because I know he will tease me after this.

"Get in. 3 of you. We can catch up with a cup a coffee in my office."

Just like that, 3 of us get into the elevator. We arrive at Uncle's office and sit on the sofa while Uncle get some coffee for us. Then, he arrive with four cup of coffee in his hand.

"Drink it", he offered to us and we did drink it before start our conversation.
"So, get to see you sick friend?", he asked even though I'm 100% sure he knew we didn't. I shakes my head.

"But you guys still wants to meet her?"

"Uncle, can you let us to meet her? We just want to make sure she was okay", Chanyeol said.

"Well, it's not up to me. It's up to patients either they want to allow a visitor or not. But, I was shocked to hear a word like this from someone who once kidnapped her to help his girlfriend", Uncle said.

I see Chanyeol was looking down, ashamed for his wrongdoing.

"But we still want to meet her. We can't just let kill herself like that", Yoojoung said.

"Right. You must not want it from happening to her. But as someone who tried to kill her before, it's weird since it's what you want before, right?", Uncle said while smiling.

I see Yoojoung did the same thing like Chanyeol. Staring down with guilty face.

"Uncle, can you do something? Just this time. This hospital is yours. Can you do something to let us see her?", I said when both Chanyeol and Yoojoung silent after Uncle said about their doing before.

"Do what? You're right. This hospital is mine but when the patients needed became issue, I cannot do anything unless do what the patient wants. But, shouldn't you'd happy? You can't see her since you hate her so much, right? I'm sure you want her to disappear too. For someone who hate her so much, I think it is something to grateful. Right, Baekhyun-ah?"

I can't answer him because what he said was true anyway. I do feel that way but I don't know why but I keep worried about her.
