Chapter 38 - New puzzle

Baekhyun

I looks at my watch. It's almost 2 hours since we were waiting outside. But Hyekyo still didn't come out from the house. Jooyoung seonsengnim and Chanyeol are playing games at the back seat. The loud voice suddenly hit my ears.

"Goal!!!!"

Chanyeol and Jooyoung seonsengnim said and clapped like a seal. I rolled my eyes. When I open my lips, I see Hyekyo come out from the door. Front door? Is she going inside by jumping from balcony and why she coming out from...in front door?

I looked at her. Her face looked dark. Why? What was happening in there? She walks passed out car. I pull out the seatbelt and and come out from the car.

"Yayaya, where are you going?", Chanyeol asked me.

" Hyekyo just walked passed us. I'm going to follow her."

"Baekhyun-ah, she will know we followed her, then. She's get mad and frustrated for sure", Jooyoung seonsengnim said.

" Then, what are we gonna do now?", I asked them.

They looked at each other and lift their shoulder means they don't know. I sigh. Why must I have to stick with this Dumb and Dumber here?

I make a decision by following Hyekyo. They said my name loudly but I ignored them and continued searching Hyekyo, who I lost because of those Dumb and Dumber.

We're in Gangnam District where I don't familiar with. Almost 15 minutes trying to find her, I walk passed the bakery there and turn to left. I see Hyekyo there, sit on the bench beside the street. She looks like thinking of something. Then, I see her standing and walking straight through the road at there. Then, she walked at the sidewalks to the traffic light. She wait for the green light to cross the road.

After the green was shown, she suddenly run. Really fast. I try to catch her up but her speed really something. She turn to right at the street. I followed her by turn to right but she cannot be traced. I looks around but she was unseen. Then, I turn my face to the shop behind me and her face was shown. I gasped.

"What are you doing? Followed me up?", she said with her annoyed face.

" H-huh? Aaa, I'm not following you. Just... I just taking a walk. That's all."

"So, that's why you was in front of my house? Stalking me?", she said.

" W-w-what are saying? Haha.. No, I'm not stalking you. I told you. Taking a walk", I said while laughing guiltily.

She looked at me. Right into my eyes. I try to not move my eyes but it was moving.

"So, you're walking with Chanyeol and Jooyoung seonsengnim?", she said while signalled behind me.

I turned and see Chanyeol and Jooyoung seonsengnim was behind me with smile. I closed my eyes. They really the worse. Really!!!

I looked at Hyekyo and she sighs. She looked frustrated.

" Sorry, I didn't mean to disrupt or make un-...", before I finished Hyekyo interrupt me.

"I told you guys. Don't ever interfere with my problems. You not only distract me but also distress me. Don't interfere in if you don't know anything. I warned you. Don't ever tried to."

"Not after kidnapped me, try to stay away from me as far as you can. Until me satisfied", she said. Chanyeol's face turn dark.

She finished it and walked away. But, then, she turn back.

"You just make something difficult more difficult", She said it and walked away.

Yes, of course she said that. Everything come out from her mouth was true, though. I just distress her. Jooyoung seonsengnim put his hand on my shoulder, trying to keep me calm. I looked at Chanyeol. He looked really dark and bad. I know she knew that Chanyeol who kidnapped her before. And now, she hate him, her childhood friend, maybe not friend, just someone she knew.

We go to the cafe to try calm Chanyeol. When Jooyoung seonsengnim and I are talking, Chanyeol suddenly stand up.

" I'm going back first."

"Why? Let's go to the cinema. There are many latest movie coming up. Let's watch it," said Jooyoung seonsengnim. He tried to make Chanyeol stayed with us. He's not in good condition. He'll do anything doesn't make any sense. When he kidnapped Hyekyo too, he didn't eat for days and stayed in his room like a sick person. We afraid he will do that again.

"Maybe next time. I'll go first. Don't worry. I'm not going to harm myself like before."

Like he know what Jooyoung seonsengnim and I afraid, he said that. He can be trust, anyway.

"I'm going back too, seonsengnim," I said.

"Okay but we're not done here. Male sure come to school tomorrow. Let's discuss how to help Hyekyo to solve all of this."

I nod and walked away. While walking, I'm thinking. Will she let us involved in her past? But why she didn't let us? Is there something more we still don't know? What is it?

Hyekyo

I'm walking at Apgujeong Street. I'm really mad at them right now. Is they really stupid? They don't even sense anything. Especially, Byun Baekhyun. I sigh.

He don't have to involve in this. He'll get hurt. I don't mind if I'm getting hurt but I don't want anyone else get hurt because of me. I don't want to owe to someone. All his father doing make me slowly started hate him. I know. It's not him who make me like this but I can't help myself for hating him.

Suddenly, I thought about something. The envelope that my father's secretary gave me. I sit on the bench beside the street. I groped my sweater pocket and grabbed the envelope.

What is this, actually? Is it about my past? But why he'd have this? I don't think my father told my past to him because if he said about it, his secret will leak. I'm sure he didn't want to end all of this.

But what inside this envelope? My hand trembling. I don't know why but I suddenly feel really nervous.

My hand slowly open the envelope. The paper coming out from the envelope. When I pull the paper, something was fell. I take a peek down. Loos like a photos. Two piece of them. I take them and turn them around since they were upside down.

When I looked at the pictures., my hand trembling hard. How can....it turned like this? This really doesn't make any sense. How can he..... But how? Why?
