Chapter 73 - Similar But Different

The graduation is end. I received the honoured award from principal as the best and representative student. Friends and teachers was congratulated me. So it is official now that I'm no longer high schooler.

I'm preparing for the university entrance exam now. I decided to take business and marketing course at Seoul University. Chanyeol and Yoojoung was applying for a same university. Chanyeol is taking a same course as me and Yoojoung wanted to apply for medical course.

"Baekhyun-ssi, sir is calling for you. He's waiting in his study", Dad's assistant said.

It was in the morning and I'm taking a breakfast. I nods at him as he walks away. I finishes my breakfast and go up stair. I knocks the door before Dad's voice told me to coming.

"Why are you want to see me?", I asked as soon as entered his study.

"Sit", he said and sit on the sofa. I did as he told and waits for him to talk.

"What's the course you applied for your studies?", he asked.

"Business", I said without look at him.

Actually, we were awkward towards each other. But after what was happening, we are more awkward and I don't have any desired to repair our relationship although I can sense Dad was trying to be more considerate towards me. He nods to me.

"Do you really want to apply for it or you did it because of me?"

"I never did anything to you, Dad", I said coldly. I know I was rude to him but actually there was something that he lied to me and I want to know why he did that and what was the truth.

"Then, you must know that I would give you BaekSang someday. Be prepare for it."

I nods at him.

"If you have nothing to say anymore, I want to excuse myself. I have somewhere to go", I said and stand up to get out from the room. The longer I stay here, the more I can feel the awkwardness between us.

"You're going to see that girl, right?", he said and make me stop. I grab the door handle. How did he know?

I keep visiting the hospital to meet her even though I can't see her. It's not like the first time I meet her at hospital. I can't see her with Uncle's permission and she did change her room. I asked uncle about it. He told me that he only did because Hyekyo asked her to do that. There must be the reason why Uncle is acting like that. Following what Hyekyo said.

"You did, right?", Dad asked again.

"I'm keep going to visit her. So don't ever tell me to not do it again. I must meet her", I said. Yes, I must meet her. I want to understand her. The way she think, the way she acted and the way she feel.

"I didn't say anything, right?", Dad said. I looks at him. He walks to his desk.

I'm quite surprised because he said nothing about it.

"You're going to visit her, then do whatever you want as long as you're not going to do any stupid action", he said and told me to go.

I walks to hospital. Dad is acting strangely. I shake my head. It's not the time to think about Dad. As soon as I arrive at hospital, I give the nurse a pack of breakfast for Hyekyo. It's almost everyday I did the same and nurse didn't said anything and just give it to her as I said. They didn't questioned me a lot as they knew I was Uncle's nephew.

I didn't use the position I have for myself but I did that to meet her even though she refused any visitor. But today was strange when the nurse told me Hyekyo is no longer refused any visitors. I was happy hear that news any. I was also told by nurse there is a man going inside Hyekyo's room just now. I'm curious. Who is it?
