"I have never ever wanted to give up on a bunch of brats so badly in my who life! The are driving me crazy! How in the name of shinobi kind did they even manage to pass my test?" Kakashi vents to me as we relax on the couch, legs intertwined. It has been about a week since they passed his test and every day seems to be worse than the first. Just the other day, Kakashi came home exhausted from trying to keep them from fighting the entire time they were on their mission, walking dogs. Naruto thought he had to compete with Sasuke. Sakura only paid attention to Sasuke, making Naruto even more eager to challenge him.

I giggle and rub his hand that is rested on my stomach, allowing him to continue. "When I look at them, I only see what happened when I was on my team with Obito and Rin. It is driving me crazy. How can I make them see that I desperately need them to get along and cooperate? I really don't want a repeat of team Minato. I am the only one still alive... And if they keep this up the same thing will happen to them," he says softly, exasperation in his voice. His eyes are narrowed as he thinks through the problem at hand.  I smile softly at him, snuggling closer with a yawn. "Maybe what they really need is a real mission to show them what real teamwork is supposed to be like?" I ask him gently as I stifle my fatigue.

Kakashi nods and rubs my shoulders. "Maybe. Or they just need a good wakeup call. I can't believe some of the things they argue about. Did you know that apparently Sakura hates Naruto for being Sasuke's first kiss? Apparently it was an accident and he was bumped from behind. I learned this much when the three of them got into yet another fight today. Is this really our future as ninjas?" Kakashi asks in annoyance. I let him vent it out. He comes home completely stiff and frustrated every day. These kids were really getting to him and it was like his demons from the past were coming back to haunt him.

"Come on now, it can't be that bad. I think you are over exaggerating a little bit there. But you are right. If something isn't done soon it could turn out to be a severe problem. Have you talked to lord Third yet?" I ask him seriously. He shakes his head. "No. You know I am not one to complain. Besides, I think he would be more upset that I have been unable to work it out myself. If it comes down to it, I am going to try to set something up. For now, I want to keep throwing missions their way and hope that they will get it eventually." He says. I look over at him and frown. "Is there something you aren't telling me?" I ask him quietly.

He stiffens and lets out a deep sigh. "Yeah. I am pretty sure I know what our next mission is going to be. But... I don't know if you will like it," he tells me haltingly. I sit up and look him in the eyes. "Tell me," I order impatiently. I don't like bad news. Or surprises.

"I was told that there was a possibility that I may have to travel to the land of waves for my next mission. We may be protecting a bridge builder. For all I know, I may be gone for a while," He says with dry honestly. I frown. "So basically, you have no idea when you are coming back?" I ask lightly. He nods in confirmation. "Well, guess it can't be helped. After all, you are one of the most coveted ninja the Hidden Leaf Village has right now. So, I am sure that this may be a good thing. I will just have to make due without you for a while is all," I tell him, plastering a smile onto my face. He just looks at me without responding.

The dim light from outside makes shadows on the floor, the lamps being the only light indoors. I sigh and look at the clock on top of the book shelf. "I have training early tomorrow morning. Why don't you show up to our old training grounds and see for yourself what I mean?" He proposes as he stretches beside me. I think for a second and nod. "I am sure mother will be excited to watch Shingen and Ruriko. She hasn't seen them for at least two weeks now. I will ask her first thing tomorrow," I say as I get off the couch and walk towards the bedroom. Kakashi follows me silently but I can feel his gaze on my bottom.

"You realize that we are going to be up really early in the morning right?" I ask him with a laugh as I turn slightly to meet his gaze out of the corner of my eyes. He chuckles. "It's fine. We have all the time in the world tonight," He tells me as he rubs a hand along the swells of my bottom. Heat alights my face and my heart begins to race, making my head spin. We make our way to the bedroom with a speed I didn't think was possible. About an hour later, I lay in his arms, feeling him trail soft kisses alongside my face and neck. The last thing I hear before I drift off to sleep is his nearly silent whisper. "I love you, Shizuka."

.

It is around noon the next day. I dropped the kids off with my mother, trailing around the village as I pick up lunch from Ichiraku's. I was told that Uncle Minato's son loved their food, and it had been a while since Kakashi and I had eaten there ourselves. After picking up two bowls per person I was going to feed, I made my way to the training grounds. I didn't know whether to feel excited or to feel sorry for my Husband. I didn't want to interrupt anything, but I was incredibly curious as to what his students were like.

As I enter the training grounds, my eyes meet an exhausted Kakashi's. The expression resting in his eyes is one I have never seen before. Frustration, annoyance and something else I am unable to place rests in the eye that he has uncovered. He looks so .... different. I have no words to even describe him right now. That's when I hear the complaining begin. "Wow! You did it Sasuke! Way to go!" A syrupy sweet girls voice calls out as my head turns to catch A black haired boy throwing shuriken at a target to get the bulls eye every time.

"Sasuke! Sasuke! Sasuke! I am here too Ya know? I don't see what's so great about him anyways! can he do this?" I look over and my heart nearly stops as I see the spitting image of my uncle Minato in the form of a child, right before he does something I never would have dreamed in my life. Making a simple hand sign he cries out, "Transform! Sexy Jutsu!" Right before my eyes, he becomes a beautiful and very... Very... Naked blonde girl. My jaw drops and I rub my eyes before striding over and delivering to him the smack of a century.

Four heads turn my direction, three of them having been unaware that I was there. With a scary look on my face, I begin to yell. "What the hell! That is a completely inappropriate jutsu to use in front of the ladies. Where do you get off thinking such audacity is a good idea?" I snarl in a frighteningly angry tone. Kakashi gives me a look of sympathy. 'See what I have to deal with?' Is what the look in his eye tells me. I can definitely tell by this point that he was not over exaggerating. These kids were surely joking about becoming ninja? Because all I saw was a half baked comedy act unfolding before my eyes and it wasn't really even all that funny. With a pop, Naruto transforms back into his shockingly Minato-like young self.

A sigh escapes my lips and I face them head on, putting the carry out I was holding in my now tired arms on the ground. "Who're you?" Naruto asks with a frown on his face. The other two look at me questioningly as Kakashi laughs and comes up behind me and rests a palm on my shoulder. "Team seven, Meet my wife and the mother of my children, Shizuka Hatake." Kakashi introduces me. I smile at him lovingly and laugh. "Why don't all of you stop and take lunch?" I ask as I gesture to the food I brought. Eager looks appear on the student's faces, Naruto's especially when they see what I brought.

I stay for a while, only to see that Kakashi is right. This team of his is utter madness and would nearly drive any sane Jonin Leader to a level of crazy no one would ever have thought possible. I had no idea how he was planning on fixing it but one thing was for sure, something would have to give soon. With that as a grim thought, I head home to get Kakashi's stuff ready for this mission he was about to embark on with the students. I didn't know why but I just had a bad feeling.

(Alrighty Things are gonna pick up soon I promise. I just released the first chapter of my new story, To Catch An Alpha. Obviously it is a werewolf story. I have major plans for this story so I truly hope you check it out. I will update again soon. With Christmas around the corner, things have been picking up at work.
