Am I Not Good Enough

Chapter 47

so i was thinking when this is over i might do a short story on jace, and give him a ending. this story doesn't really give all he needs. so commet on what you think and vote!

Chapter 47

Two of the council members came. The head one in charge and the second in command. “ok now Maya, so as you know all alpha’s have a mark on their left shoulder” Clarissa, the second in command said. I nodded, “well you don’t have that yet or you would have noticed, but it seems like it will come in about a month or two seeing as how your body is already starting to shift into one of an alpha” I nodded but I didn’t really believe it.

I still can’t wrap my mind around the fact that I will be a alpha one day, well I already am but I mean a real one. I will start a new alpha bloodline, something that hasn’t been done in a long time. “so anyways why don’t you call your co-alpha, your mate and alpha Railington.” Jack said from beside her. jack was the head of the council that made all the important decisions affecting  werewolves. They had power, but they did not own the packs and they couldn’t make them do what they want.

“Ok and can I bring my pack warrior in too? he’s a big part in the pack” I said. I wanted Chris there with me because honestly this was kind of scary and he was there through everything with me. “sure but only people you trust right now can hear all of this.” I nodded and contacted through the link. ‘Jace, you, Chris, Dustin and alpha Railington can come in now’ I said through the link. A minute later all four of them walked through the door of the small office in our house. “well we are here to discuss this new pack that Jace and Maya are running as well as Maya and Dustin’s pack issues as well as Maya’s change. So we have a lot of decisions to make today and they won’t be easy. Where would you guys like to start.” Jack said.

The way he said everything finally exposed the whole thing for the big complication that it really was. “well I want to start with my alpha stuff first, because if it’s not as it seems then some other changes won’t be necessary” I want to know for sure that I will be one and I want to know how it will affect the people around me.

“yea I think that’s a good idea. me and Maya both have alpha gens although mine is passed down, will any of our wolves have a problem with sharing the alpha position?” Jace asked.  I didn’t want to move out of that pack with him because it was something that we built from the ground up, well mainly him. but it was something that was going to become big one day and I planned on being involved with it.

“No as long as you two are both of equal rank then that should not be a problem. And to answer the question I know you will ask, yes Maya you will turn into a full alpha we can already sense it” I don’t know how the hell Clarissa knew what I was thinking and how they can sense it but they are on the council for a reason I guess.

“so what’s going to change with my wolf and me?” I didn’t want this change to actually change me. “it will make your wolf size bigger, your command more affective, you will be more territorial and protective. You won’t back down, you will bear the mark and you will have to come to those country and state alpha meetings every once in a while. It will change your temper as well, and you will not like it when people challenge you. But overall you will still be the same person you already are.” Jack explained.

Well that wasn’t too bad, it would mainly just make me a better leader, but of course I wouldn’t get carried away with any of those things. The one thing that can happen, is if every alpha in the state is against you leading then you can be stripped of your title, that has only happened a few times throughout history and not very recently.
