To others
Is beautiful and delicate
Cupped firmly in their palm.
Smoothing their small fingers
Over its smooth surface.
Not a single dent.
My love
Is broken.
A small orb
Cracked and shattered.
Put back together
Many times over.
It's whole again
Yet, the scars remain visible.
