As the water rushed to the surface
She continued to fall down
Dragged to the depths
Where no sunlight dared to enter
Drowning
Down,
Down,
Down.
Watching the sunlight that carried her hope
Slowly disappear.
In her hands
Was a large, steel ball
Dragging her
Down,
Down,
Down.
The thing she clutched so dearly
Ultimately killed her
All because she refused to
Let
Go.
